She's trying to promote herself and brand. Posh Pawn is a well known show in the UK.

This is all for entertainment value, don't get sucked in by it. They need to beef up the show and make it watchable. I know for a fact that a lot of these sales are fake and only for entertainment. I say I know for a fact as I know somebody personally who faked a sale on one of these shows.

I agree with Paul Thrutner. I have a feeling that this is normally only done to go look at larger things that are difficult to move like for example home furnishings. Even then they probably require a lot of photos to be sent before they go so they don’t waste their time. If they were not filming the show they would probably be doing all this in an email or phone call.

James is not all he seems- he has a conviction for assault against the mother of his children. Channel 4 were aware before the series was filmed but said it didn’t bother them. I notice he didn’t marry the mother of his children and don’t know whether he ever married Claudia, either.

It's common practice here in the U.S. that in order to run a tab the bartender hangs on to your cc till you are ready to call it a night.

They actually use that exact same Credit Card safe in my local pub here in Peterborough. I have even ran a tab with my card and they gave me the key just like he explains. The name of the pub is The Ramblewood Inn.

In London we put our credit cards over the bar if we are on a long day/night booze up with a group of employees it's quite ordinary to do this

if you want to "keep the tab open" the bartender holds your card until you close out.

Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if there was some kind of prosthetic available that could be inserted into the little pocket of a woman’s underwear that will give them a more accentuated camel toe. Probably very poorly, there's all sorts of 'anti-cameltoe' underwear on the market. This episode probably just helped get her idea stolen by 100 different companies. You can get pairs for like $5 on Amazon.

I know my pearls and they aren’t worth anything. Not sure whether she was aware that receiving money from those medals could have effected their benefit entitlement- clearing debt can be seen as deprivation of capital.

Yes, that's always been the case. I remember reading in Nancy Mitford's novel 'The Pursuit of Love', Sir Leicester telling Linda that "if you are going to buy jewellery, always make it diamonds. Pearls don't keep their worth"!!! He had given Linda 1,000 pounds for her birthday, which she had spent on a beautiful garnet and pearl necklace set in gold. He was right, if all you care about is money (LOL!!!) but Linda bought the necklace because she loved it! I have lots of lovely gold jewellery that my mother left to me, including two diamond rings, one of which has a 3 carat white diamond, and the other is more of a cocktail ring in platinum with 25 smaller diamonds. But my favourite piece is a lovely woven gold bracelet from Dubai which my father bought for her. I must have them valued.

People pay a contribution towards the health service through tax and are not billed for medical treatment they receive. PS: Why do you "hope this world and people have no humanity"?

If I was taking a risk of starting my own business yet getting by on whatever income I had, I would rather use disposable assets than risk my home with a bank. Blood suckers. Im glad she used items she hasnt a need for as the business did fail, but good on her, she tried.
