A bumper-car collector looking for a loan visits the shop offering an impromptu test drive in the city. Patrick is star-struck when he deals with a bass guitarist who used to play with Eric Clapton.
The series follows the adventures and day to day running of Prestige Pawnbrokers. The luxury pawnbrokers are run by entrepreneur James Constantinou who guides us through clients interesting in pawning or selling items from helicopters to Lamborghinis, mini-submarines and Hermes handbags.

If I were worth millions, I would waste it on designer anything. The thing I like about this show is when ordinary folks need money for something important, and they bring in an heirloom that has not seen the light of days in decades.

If the guy had more documentation of every musicians he played with. this fender base guitar,he'd probably get closer to the 20 thousand he was looking for.

That guy Dave pawning the Fender Jazz would have more than an inkling that his bass was not worth anything near what he was asking. He already knew about the refin and the pickups being swapped out. He freely admitted "it's a players bass" after the valuation and legwork had been done. Vintage guitars from any maker are really only worth serious money if they are untouched originals. Was this plotline set up entirely for the story angle? Don't let this show go down the same route as that shocking US fiasco.
