I want to ask, with the 'Norse Wonder Woman rather then Greek wonder woman', is norse mythology actually brought up or alluded to or do you mean just with the vibes it has?
You know what, why couldn't everyone gets an axe? If the 90's comics were defined by big pouches, then let's the 2020's be about giant weapons! BRING ON THE AXE-SOLUTE!!
I was never a huge Wonder Woman fan but, goddamn, this looks cool! It's a very different take on the character, but all of the classic DC characters have gotten a bit samey. Maybe a fresh look/take on them is what they need to revive them.
Wonder Woman has always had the ability to commune with animals. Most writers do not display it. I shrug anytime I see Wonder Woman with a sword. She is as powerful as Superman who never needs a sword or weapons. The sword is used to make her look and seem more badass when she is already that without it over the last several decades. It’s a sign of a writer who doesn’t know the power of the character.
@@Louis-wx1fo I was commenting on the review as well as questioning why someone equal to Superman needs a sword. I noted it’s an attempt to make her look cool, but she has been cool for decades without the need for a sword.
