Fingers (Live) by CHINCHILLA is equally as amazing.

Chinchilla broke from her label when they told her that this wouldn't appeal to everyone. So she released it independently, and proved them wrong! I vote for Fingers Live next, and Cold Water. Great reactions Ian, you're doing so well!

Speaking as a female, I'd agree there is a smallish % of men who are overtly disrespectful. There are masses more who are unconsciously patriarchal and don't even recognize it. In my experience and in my culture, the majority. Particularly noticeable in the workplace, to this day. No accident this track is wildly popular with women.

The line "Little girl gone" (she was younger in the past, a little girl, but now she's a grown woman) and then "got a gun from a gangster" (perhaps that refers to learning how to stand up for herself from the jerk or jerks who kept her down. She didn't get a literal gun, but she learned from him, and is now turning that 'gun' on him). "Honey, I've changed so much since I last saw you" ties into that as well. I love your enthusiasm! She produced this herself, did the video herself..she is now a fully independent artist. You'll get requests for Fingers (Live) and you should do that, then check out "Elements" and "Cold Water."

Another great reaction! Just a little backstory, Chinchilla has written about the struggles she's had getting away from management to go independent. In my opinion, one of the markers of a fantastic song, is that it has many interpretations available. This allows more people to connect with it. Chinchilla is a master at this! It doesn't hurt that her voice is absolutely CAPTIVATING. Little girl gone, to me, means she probably felt like a little girl, small, helpless and abused in that relationship. But that little girl is long gone.

Loved your reaction! One thing I've learned about Chinchilla is she doesn't do anything part way. She's phenomenal! What a voice, and what musical intelligence. Also, she designs and makes all her costumes. So over the top, I have to love it!
