All valuations were correct at the time of broadcast. This wonderful pair of cabinets would have featured as part of a library in a huge mansion, for bibliophiles or people who wanted to look like bibliophiles. They were found in the coal cellar of a house bought by someone this gentleman knew, and he accepted them and duly cleaned them up and restored them to their former glory! The experts from Antiques Roadshow take a look at some fantastic antiques and the history and stories surrounding them. This clip was filmed in Hartlepool in 2001.
