But ultimately its exact meaning isn't clear (imo) 2 - Given the context of the rest of the lyrics, I personally think "the fate of MY death" is what is implied here, but that's not what the text says so I left it as-is. 3 - the word used here, 'dissolibilis', I suspect is a compound word (similar to 'somnialiter' being a compound for 'somnia' and 'aliter' earlier in the lyrics) that I'm just unfamiliar with. I just left it as 'dissolvable' since I couldn't come up with a plausibly real translation otherwise. 4 - literally: baked/cooked - the word used insinuates to be parched in the sun. If you put the lyrics into google translate you'll get something funny like "behold, i cooked you nephew" lol ------------------------------------------- Overall I'm sure there's a good amount of inaccuracies in my translation, I haven't practiced my translating skills in a few years now, but I'm confident this is a better/more accurate result than anything Google will give you! For all the crybabies complaining about EDM, it's there because it has a reason to be there. It has long been established that EDM is used to represent a power that is alien from Teyvat, like the All-Devouring Narwhal for example. We know that Arlecchino is a descendant of the Crimson Moon dynasty from Khaenri'ah, and that Khaenri'ah definetely had some interaction with the outside of Teyvat (and became the Abyss order). It all perfectly adds up. Now if you don't like it, that's a different can of worms that i don't intend to open up, i am no one to judge... but don't say that "it doesn't belong in the song" and "they had no reason to use EDM" because you're wrong for reasons of lore.

Hoyoverse music. A mix of Classical, Opera, and Electronic themes in one. Basically. Pick Everything you like and Blend it together and see if you can make it work. And they make it work so HARD.

I cannot help shedding some tears because I am a woman with a deeper voice myself and to hear Miss Huiling Zhu singing was quite unexpected and felt so incredible to me. The sheer power and somehow softness that came with her feels eerie but comforting, and deserves special recognition! Truly a master-level performance, from the kids to the adults to instrumentalists, bravo!

As someone who has a decent amount of music background and loves Genshin content, I really appreciate the amount of dedication and effort that Hoyoverse puts into the music design of Genshin. One thing genshin never disappoints with is the design of characters and new regions, but nothing can beat the music It ranges from creepy to soothing to epic... all in one game. I honestly think genshin doesn't get enough credit for that
