Windfall resembles various forms of Northern Long fist / Northern Shaolin arts more than anything else. Chaquan, Meihua zhaung, certain eclectic Longfist branches, and many more. These arts generally tend to be the stark opposite of Wing Chun, ironically. Northern long-arm styles emphasize large, extended movements with focus on agility and footwork. Which Windfall perfectly represents.

The way ip man fought was more forsaken than windfall... Especially in the movies, where wen he was in his groove, he'd do the "forsaken" parry & everything

these styles have a mixture of all fighting styles and they plan to release more styles with moves in the future

Leroy The God Leroy The God As far as sheer coolness goes, sure. But the fact that Kahlt just straight up get to give themselves super armor on command seems insanely powerful compared to the other special powers, at least to me. Honestly if that was all thier special did I'd be sold on them. The fact that the same super armor ALSO gives you some brief lifesteal to make sure you recoup the life investment on the initial trade of hits before you stagger the opponent seems patently terrifying. Depending on how far you can chain combos in this game, Khalt may end up being both the safest style to play and the style most able to punish other people for misplays. In a game like this, where "perfect play" is essentialy impossible for a human, that's pretty great. Obviously this is all conjecture, I've not seen any of this game since e3, but I think it's worth some thought.

All of them are cool, but I'm really digging Forsaken (I personally think it's the most realistic/practical). Stagger could be fun for some Jackie Chan reenactments.

TheFinal Flaregun I'm not very experienced with that type of martial art but I watched a video on it and they seemed to be almost scared to go each other. They were basically tapping each other

The tapping you hear is a lot harder than it looks. They are fighting bare knuckled. It's a lot different from fighting with gloves. It's a lot more painful. You're probably also not used to people not punching to the face. That is one of our REALLY STUPID rules that people put in a long time ago when they thought full contact fighting was "too dangerous". I really wish they would just change it. : (

TheElderTrolls forsaken is boxing, windfall is kung fu, the other starting one is kickboxing, then the stagger is drunken kung fu. this is really vague but thats the basic way of looking at it I THINK.... dont take my word for it, it may be wrong

IMO they are Karate, Muay Thai / Kickboxing, kung fu, and Drunken boxing

forsaken is a mix but it has karate and taekwondo moves and the moves themselves are called what they're called in japanese and korean.

justas there's the three starter styles at the begging of the game, but you can find many more in the open world which you can learn. It's said in the trailer.

Yepp, this was made before the release of the game. The 5th style came out with a free update a year later after release.

I actually like that idea so then you don't have big arguments over the game. There is definitely going to be a lot of salt in this game and you could just imagine the hate coming over the chat if they had one.
