I love this piece of art. In tune with the holiday season, I have created an abstract Christmas Wreath, using shapes and shimmering watercolours, bought from a local store. The size of the paper is 8×8 inches.
I am creating layers from the lighter colours until darker. You can use any colours, I just wanted these ones.
After the first layer had dried, I created the next layers the same. For guidance, I have used a plate to create a circle and a cup for smaller circles.
Except for watercolour, I have used a Sakura calligraphy pen in gold to create bubbles.
I finished with some gold and purple splashes using a toothbrush. After drying, I signed the piece on the back and sealed it with fixative for watercolour.
