Whilst I appreciate that you want people to submit answers, I think it works better (and in real-time) if you post the correct answers in the video after the timer has lapsed, AND explain why.
I recently applied for a dream job and was invited to do a Matrigma test (by Assessio). I've always felt nervous & anxious doing these types of tests (because of low self esteem). So I tried to solve your examples and watched this video before doing the test - and guess what? My results were "Above average"! I couldn't believe it! I was so happy. I've always feared doing these types of evaluation tests.. so you are absolutely right about practicing. Thank you Richard!
Very useful and can't thank you enough, but it would help us much more if you could give us the answers to the unanswered questions in the videos description so that we don't have to search through hundreds of comments to see if we got it right or wrong. 🙏
Q13. Neither Set A top and bottom appear alike but the shading in the shapes are in different directions. Set B right images are reflection of left. In the test shape bottom is a direct reflection of top
Hello teacher, are you there?, I've just get my admission for the master degree and everything is because of your help teacher, because of your great exercices. The exam was simple than your exercices and I did it sure of my answers and in everything I learned in your RU-vid chanel, I had quite difficult with the time but all my answers were fine. After finish my entrance exam and before get the score, I wanted to run to give you a hug 'cause I knew that I did it well. Thanks again teacher and I'll keep practive more and more times.
Hi Richard, I wanted to thank you. Ive used your videos on interview questions as well as psychometric testing. I just got confirnation that I was successful in my application.🙏 Thank you so very much! I could not have been as confident without the help of your videos, appreciate it. Yes, I am definitely subscribed.
Hi! Thank you for your kind words! I am very happy to hear that, congratulations:) I am sure you're celebrating :) I wish you all the best in your new career!
Seems 13 should be A because the A set reflect top and bottom, and the set to match does as well. ...but then again, it fits into B because the set to match also reflects left to right.
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THESE VIDS !!! THEY HAVE HELPED ME A LOT. I'VE IMPROVED IT OVER NIGHT T-T THANK YOU SO MUCH, PLEASE KEEP ON DOING THESE TYPE OF CONTENT'S I WILL BE WATCHING ! :)
Q7 : C, clockwise or after eight possibilities, back to start, i.e. first square Q9 : A (alternate direction of shape + 7 shapes on left side, 5 on right side, therefore 6 in the middle) Q11 : C 9 (alternate white black shape + add one side per shape) Q13 : Set A (mirror reflection principle in both. A horizontal, B vertical, but test shape is horizontal)
Hi, Richard! Just subscribed to your youtube channel. Here are my answers. Please, let me know which one is correct and which one is wrong. Thank you Q2:B Q4:C Q6:B Q7:C Q9: A Q11:C Q13:C
Hi, I really do appreciate your sub to the channel. I hope that you stick around and find all of my resources helpful for you. I am happy to report that all of your answers are correct here. Good work! You may find our Abstract Reasoning Tests workbook if you are looking to practice more tests like this one. Here is a link to it: www.how2become.com/abstract-reasoning-tests/
Awesome video, I've been looking to understand these types of questions and your videos have really helped. I would like to see the answer to question 6 together with it's explanation pls.
Hey!! I don't know how to answer these questions before, but after seeing this video I'm really confident that I can answer these type of questions now. Much Thanks🙏
This is my first time encountering a test like this and that's because I'm preparing for an interview for my dream job. So glad I found you. I'm going to binge watch all of these tutorials because I really don't do well with maths and things like this. In the mean time here are the answers to the questions. Please rate me 2. B 4. C 6. B 7. C 9. A 11. C 13. A
Amazing Oizamsi, I can tell that your improving already! I’m not sure if you got the answers wrong or right but one tip is that if thought of an answer mak3 sure there’s a reason for it! -Well done
Q2. (LETTER B) The color sequence from blue to green alternate and the patterns of the arrow. Q4. (LETTER C) Q6 (LETTER B) Q7. (LETTER C) Q9. (LETTER A) Q11. (LETTER C) Q.13 (NEITHER) Am I right? ://
@@CareerVidz so yes I was tryna figure out it again and I think the answer is SET B coz SET A is not a mirror like reflection from a first row the colors are not the same, so my answer is SET B.
@@nauka7565 You're wrong! Check the answer from CarrerVidz bellow. There was another who wrote "D" as an answer. CarrerVidz responded: "Take another look at Q6 and see if you can get B as the correct answer." Btw it is obvious that B is the match.
2:B. Both shapes move by half clockwise. Circle changes from blue to green 4:c Shapes moves clockwise and keeps the shade/Patten of the previous shape. 6: B each row has an arrow of blue green and red. The missing arrow colour is blue. 7: C shapes move to next corner. 9: A number of lines decreases and alternates direction the point to. 11: C number of lines increases and changes from shaded to unshaded. 13: A what's on top is also on the bottom I need to be fast when taking these tests...I'm very slow
In Q5, the other way to find out the answer is by counting the circles including white and black. If you are counting it from the left to right you will get 8,7,6 in the sequence so, the answer is A. Cheers!
My entrance exam for college is near so I take an advance practice regarding abstract and logical reasoning. So I tried answering your questions: Q2: B Q4: C Q6:B Q7: C Q9: A - because the pattern shown are decreasing by 1. Q10: A Q11: C. - alternating the sequence. Q13: C. - the cylidrical shapes that shown in the figure are both mirros by vertically and horizonatally and also the test sets are the same. 💜
q2: B q4: C q6: B q7: C q9: A decreased by 1 and alternate directions q11: C increased number of sides by 1 and alternate from black to white q13: C, there is no set that mirrors from top to bottom
Yep all correct here, spot on 100%. Good work! How did you find this video on abstract reasoning tests? If you would like to practice more questions like these I recommend you check out our abstract reasoning tests workbook. Here is a link to it: www.how2become.com/abstract-reasoning-tests/
I beg to differ - in Q13, to me, it looks like in Set A, each square contains shapes and shading that are a mirror image of themselves about the horizontal axis...

@@simphiwezulu9328 Personally what I did what for each row there were three arrows each had blue green and red the last row was missing the blue one I made the intuition for it to be blue it got me to the correct answer there may be other ways to solve too
Q.2 = B. the arrow is rotating 45degrees clockwise and the color of the circle switches between green and blue Q.4 = C. The central object is in a Z shape and the smaller shapes inside the square rotate between (for the triangle) horizontal lines to a solid color to a grid and repeat this pattern Q.6 = B. every row consists of 3 blues shapes, 3 red shapes, and 3 green shapes, and every shape rotates between the three colors in the row e.g the arrow is green in the first box, blue in the second box and red in the third box of the same row. Q.7 = C. In each row, the small triangle moves one step clockwise and the circle is always opposite to the triangle (the triangle moves clockwise as well) Q.9 = A. the number of objects is increasing by one right to left Q.11 = C. The number of sides of the shape is increasing by one and the color of the shape is switching between white and black Q.13 = A. The shapes reflect each other horizontally
Hi, thank you for your answers and explanations to these questions. 6 out of 7 here, good work! Take another look at Q13 and see if you can spot the answer of C for this one.
Hi! Thank you for your comment😊 You got Q2,4,6,7,9 and 11 correct! Excellent work😊 Would you like to subscribe to my channel so you don't miss out on any new content? Your support will be highly appreciated!😊
Thank you soo much Richard McMunn🤩🤩 I passed my psychometric test after I came here for this videos for the very first time. Now I'm moving on to my next step which is the interview 💝💝
Q13 is neither because in the first set 2 are a reflection and the other 2 are the same, and in setB; the ones in the end are the same and the ones in the middle are the same. Therefore it's neither! This was extremely fun and eye opening! Especially Q13 since I thought it was A at first.
it could be set B. Simply because although the images looked the same they can also be mirrored fom one left half to the other right. Same with the test shape
@@chinmay575 take a figure and look at the alternation of color. For triangle on the first line. "green red then blue" meaning on the third line it will likely to be "blue red green"
Q2: B Q4: C Q6: B Q7: C Q9: A (because on the left we have 7 arrows, on the right 5, so we are missing 6 arrows) Q11: C (the sides are in number order, starts from 3 sides, then 4, 5, 6... so we are missing 7. Plus the shapes are white, black, white, black, so we need a white 7 side shape) Q13: SET A ( the bottom is mirroring the top)
Q13 is A: -my reasoning for this is because there appears to be some sort of similar pairing per SIDE (like the arrows) in Set B. Plus, these side pairings inversely mirrors to their counterpart. This does not apply to the test shape because the pairing is not in the side, they are at the top and the bottom. Plus, if we are to look at the test shape by its sides (in a pair), the 2 side pairs would accurately mirror each other (they would not be inversely mirrored to each other). -in Set A, the square seem to be paired from top to bottom. They also seem flipped if we look at the squares with the square that they are similarly designed to (the light blue-streaked square seems to be the flipped [from top to bottom] version of the square below OF the same design [light blue streaks[) Does that make any sense?
Q2:B. Q4:C. Q6:D Q7:C. Q9:A. Q11:C.*looking for white shape and 7 sides shape cuz of increased sides.* Q13:C *cuz its a reflection of both side from left to right and up to down.*
Q2 - B Q4 - C Q6 - B Q7 - C Q9- A Q11- C al the sides of each shape increases accordingly, also the colours switch between white and black) Q13 - A (Please explain if i am wrong)!
I understand why it's C, even thought they're a mirror image of the above image, but the length of the tubes aren't the same and the bottom image are all short. I got it wrong the first time as well thinking it's a trick question.
I seems like it's too easy, so must it be a trick, but Q13... B because with A the shapes in the box are squares and with B they are not squares, so since the test shape has non-squares, the answer is B. The question doesn't specify that it's based on vertical vs horizonal symmetry right?
2 is b 4 is c 6 is d 7 is c 9 is a because the square in the middle of each row is facing the opposite way and the amount of objects in each row are decreasing 11 is c because the shape is getting 1 side bigger and it is changing from white to black 13 is set b because it is a reflection from top to bottom
Thank you for your answers. All correct apart from Q6 and 13. Great stuff. Well done. Please would you subscribe to my channel? I'd appreciate your support. Thanks!

Thank you for the video, it helps a lot! Are my answers right? I'm struggling with a few. Question 2: B Question 4: ? Could you explain how to do this please? Question 6: B Question 7: C Question 9: A because its facing the opposite way. Question 11: C because its is going black, then white so it would be white and also it is going up by 1 so it is a hexagon. Question 13: E
Q2:B Q3:A Q4:D Q5:A Q6:C Q7:B Q8:C Q9:D Q10:A Q11:C Q12: Q13: set A Please tell me if it is right because i have a test next Saturday! Also i love your vids ! Thank you!
Q 11 is c due to the shapes going up by one so each side goes up and the pattern is also white black white black so next one would be white with 7 corners Hence why c.
Question 2: D Question 4: C Question 6: B (there cannot be 2 arrows with the same color in one row) Question 7 : C ( I’m not sure :( ) Question 9 : B Question 11: C Finally Question 13: Set B because set A has only squares and the test shape is NOT a square Please check my comment so I can see if I’m right or wrong I’m in year 6 and I wanna pass my 11+ In 2 weeks so pls check 🙃
2:B 4:C 6:B 7:C 9:A(since as we can see that in each time the number of the items is decreasing by 1 and the direction is once to the right and the other time is backward) 11:C 13: C
