I like this video. Although I am 62 years old I still love to solve and answer reasoning test questions . It keeps my brain working and memories updated. Thank you. More power!
I'm currently studying for the CCAT, and your videos are giving me so much confidence. I feel like I am answering questions correctly a lot faster, and reminding myself to breathe instead of panic. thanks so much!
So my teacher showed the class this video. I solved question 6 by pure chance. I first noticed the pattern with 87. Now I needed to know which 1 out of the 2 was the right answer. The thing I thought of was adding the 2 other numbers together into 1 number, so 27+25 = 52 then 5+2 = 7 the 2nd one is 23+21 =44 thus 4+4=8 So the option 19+17 = 36 thus 3+6=9 I thought after each number the sum of the number would be up by 1 Then it showed the actual way and I was impressed at myself for thinking of this. This isn't the right pattern but it does continue oddly enough. Try it. your next numbers should be 1 2 3 4
Question 11: A.Plane is Nepal B.Chain is China C. Serial is Israel D. Enemy is Yemen The answer is E as slow cannot be an anagram for a country but can be restructured into 2 more words "lows" and " owls".
Hi! You got Q7,13 and 15 correct. Excellent work :) Would you like to subscribe to my channel so you don't miss out on any new content? Your support will be highly appreciated!😊
This is just some of my understanding of the question, I’m no expert. In chemistry, when two molecules are mirror images of each other, but when lay on top it doesn’t fit exactly (aka they aren’t symmetrical molecules), they have slightly different properties. While if a molecule is slightly rotated, it is still the same molecule with the same properties. I think in science most of the time a reflection is not considered identical.
So happy for myself. 10 years ago I scored a 57 on my IQ test. I just recently took a new one and my score was 62. Just keep studying guys you got this. My goal is to get 70 before I turn 69. Making the fam so damn proud. Thanks for the tips in the video. I cheated a little but I think I did well
Is it cheating if I used chat gpt on my most recent test. I paid $200 for the test and I wanted to do good so I could look back on it. I scored an all time high 62!!!
For the first question, you can also notice that the triangle is always facing the same way when you go from one square and move to the square diagonally down and to the right.
Hi. I think this was very useful class. I can easily understand the methods. Ur explanation to the questions are very good. This is very useful to clear my compititive exams. Thank you for ur videos

Answers to the ff questions: 3. C 7. A 11. E Anagram answers A. PLANE - NEPAL B. CHAIN - CHINA C. SERIAL - ISRAEL D. ENEMY - YEMEN E. SLOW - OWLS 13. C 15. SPOKESMAN
Yes CareerVidz, the video was so helpful. Thanks for sharing such a great piece. I have subscribed to your channel. Can you train me more on this? I'm interested not for job but to become an expert.
I needed this about 44 years when I was 18 haha! But somehow I made it through life with a decent career. I was never great at math, had math anxiety, and test anxiety, terrible at word problems, but I see now (finally) that the key is understanding the question! Duh 🙄! For example, Q4. Explained, I understand why that’s easy but when math and test anxiety kick in, I over-complicate the question. What do they mean? Is this a trick question, etc. I see the light now after all these years! Thank you!
You have just given me the answer to my lifelong struggle of why I doubt myself in any mildly confusing question. I’m a top set student and was always the last in the exam hall because I took too long crossing my answers out and overthinking questions. Did get diagnosed with severe social anxiety as well, I think now I’ve come out the crowd I’ve actually discovered that I’m a really clever lad which is nice to ponder haha. Crazy
For first question, the middle triangle points in the opposite direction of the side triangles. A think thus the simplest sequence of arriving at the answer
I used to feel like that as I can't do these tests until my husband pointed out it only proves your good at puzzles. It doesn't test intelligence that really count, such as emotional intelligence!
Q.14 Academias works as well, an academia is a community or world of teachers and students designed for the purposes of education, thus making it a nouns and therefore works when a plural form is applied.
Hi Richard, loving the videos! this is the exact test I'll be sitting in month time General Ability Test by any chance have u got more of this? and also have u got any tips for verbal reasoning, English is not my first language but I'm sure u have any tips and tricks to spot the right answer on the choices. Thanks in advance!
for question 2 it asks how long does it take him to get ready and his bus journey to school. It depends on how the term get ready is defined. I subtracted the 15 mins from the initial 2 hours because I don't consider going downstairs and eating as part of getting ready. i know getting ready as wearing clothes and taking a shower in which my case your boy martin does.
It really doesn’t matter what you consider getting ready - the numbers were provided to you. If you get stuck on wording, just ignore the words, extract the data - in this case a group of minutes - break it down into minutes instead of hours, then find the sum. For some it’s easier to turn a math problem into a word problem - for others it’s easier to remove the words from a word problem and let the math shine through. 👍🏻
Regarding question 8. In general there could be 2 answers. If you look in the mirror then you then shape A is also valid, while shape D requires manipulation or more mirrors. Depending on if you think inside the box.
Well no because it then changes the whole layout of the shape. That’s like saying the word “rose” is identical to the word “esor” because it’s mirrored but that just means it’s not identical
This is way easier than the test I’m trying to study for I already failed it once but it seems every other test or practice is much more simple and it’s not helping me at all
From the beginning onwards the numbers are added by 1,2,3,.. I.e 1+2=3,next they were adding number 3 with the ans 3 ,which we got before and the ans will be 3+3=6 keep on continue same for remaining.
I don't think B is an easy question. It is confusing to me, to me it is a trick question. Great video, even with this I would not have passed my 11+ !!!
Q11) Answer E. Slow A. Plane - Nepal B. Chain - China C. Serial - Israel D. Enemy - Yemen Not the first person to answer but hoping to get a copy of your book. 😊
I saw the similarities between the first and third columns so I immediately ignored the second. Then I took note of what each triangle in the top two outer boxes were doing. In this case both pointing towards the second column (trying to play with that column if you like). To find to missing triangle which would be opposite of its pair on the first column, I looked at the bottom box on the first column. It appeared to be trying to climb a wall on the left in an attempt to escape the second column. So I just needed to find a triangle that pointed right which looked like it was trying to climb a wall. I find it is easier to give objects purpose and a short synopsis. Otherwise my brain feels like it is going in circles. 😉👍🏻
Your answers are correct! Excellent work😊 Would you like to subscribe to my channel so you don't miss out on any new content? Your support will be highly appreciated!😊
@CareerVidz I think there is alternative way to answer question 6 and the answer can be E instead of D. If we consider that 87 comes just before prime numbers, the sequence will be 27,25,87,23(prime),21,87,19(prime),87,17(prime). I approached it that way but the approach you made is also correct. So the question in itself is ambiguous.
New subscriber here to, I have my RAF aptitude test on the 5th of March quite nervous tbh as I'm struggling with the revision but fingers crossed! Love the content it is helping to have an idea on what to expect.
@@MountainMan6 I'm going for RAF Regiment Gunner, Force Protection.. I passed my test mate it went well I had my interview on Monday I passed that as well but I've had Past Army Service so they waiting for my medical records then I go for an medical examination... What job you going for?
Q11. Plane is an anagram of Nepal. Chain is an anagram of China. Serial is an anagram of Israel. Slow is an anagram of Owls, however, 'Owls' is not a country, suggesting a potential typo or mistake in the options provided.
