Can a person make an interesting video from only still shots of static sculptures? I hope so. At least I tried - and I think succeeded.
I really enjoy making these sculptures because they don't take as much brain-power as my kinetic pieces do. I'm in a whole different place - I'm making decisions on the fly, as I find each piece to add, or not add, to each sculpture. And I don't do a lot of cutting/woodworking, as I usually just use the pieces of scrap as I've found them. Most of my raw material have come from my studio scrap pile, though a few of the bits have come from a bag of cast-off wooden lamp parts that my wife brought home.
Most of these pieces are available in my Etsy shop, check it out.....
