Another glorious abstract ❤. The gold finishing lines really elevate this. I actually like that the lines are thin and thick, I think this gives the whole project a lovely organic feel. I love your work 😍
Thank you so much Asia I really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and beautiful piece. I really really love ❤️ ❤❤❤ the colours you’ve used. And the touch of gold really makes the whole piece. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
My lovely friend Asia! I'm always thrilled when you post a creation! I absolutely love watching you take paper, paint, a little water and turn it into a small masterpiece! As for your last COMMENT: I do not believe you are 'stubborn', YOU are DETERMINED! Much love, long distance ❤️ ~Ana
The thumbnail image made me think underwater/baleen of a whale; except of course for the red hue 😂 l❤ your review, but I'll probably order from Amazon..idk why I couldn't checkout from their website 😮 thank you!!
Stunning piece Asia! This one might be my favorite!!You’re right about the blues granulating. You probably used an ultramarine blue which is one of the most granulating blues. Also you might want to try using a rigger brush for thinner and more straight lines. And if you move your entire under arm (use the elbow on the table as a pivot point) instead of just your hand while drawing the lines, it also helps with straighter lines. Have fun playing with the brushes, they look like they’re a good deal!
Dear Nathalie, thank you so much! What is the rigger brush??? I need to google it :) After so many years of crafting I still have so little knowledge, lol! But that's good, that means there is room for improvement and experimenting! I will try the elbow thing :) Big hugs and kisses!
Hi Asia, a rigger brush is typically used in watercolors to create fine expressive lines. If you have one with natural fibers, it can hold a decent amount of water, which will allow you to continue painting your lines. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but some artists swear by it. Paul Clark is one of them. Happy painting ❤!
@@LemonCreationARTand also, if you’re up for a little bit of color mixing and experimenting, you can try and mix the ultramarine blue with other non granulating watercolors. You can get some really stunning results, as you will see the granulation and separation between the colors you mixed
Beautiful. I took a watercolour course on domestika by catharzyna kmietzyk and she puts her pinky finger on the paper to support her hand to make a straight line. I haven't tried yet it but I hope it helps :)
