@@fenrir5361 Oh then they should have just made a video of them playing this on a boombox and recorded thru a laptops webcam, then that would have been TOTALLY CVLT!! In fact, it would be cool AF if this channel just recorded live Black Metal shows but left the phone running on record in a bathroom stall because THAT IS BLACK METAL! I can handle poor production, I grew up tape trading and played in Crust bands all through out the early to late 90s so I am obviously not talk about the production of the actual LP, which by the way is slicker than most black metal today and anything that came out in the late 80s, early 90's. What is awful is the compression artifices YT has created. If anything kills the actual soul and sound of music, its awful compression. Hell, even Fenriz has complained about the effects of computer compression has on even old school music.
@@informant09 I own this on 7", how do you think I was able to catch the crappy compression rate? When you have crappy compression, it loses the way and actual sound that the band themselves wanted the public to hear. I don't care about the production of a specific release, I've traded enough demo tapes in the early to mid-90s to be used to it. Just because I don't want to hear a Bathory LP that was dubbed by having one boombox in a metal trashcan and cracked to max while another boombox was across the room recording it from it's internal mic doesn't mean I don't like the music.
