Abu Garcia's MAX series of budget baitcasters has gained a reputation as a good starting place for the angler who is looking for a solid performer at a good price, especially the famous Black Max (now replaced in the current line by the Max X), which is used by beginners and seasoned anglers alike. This video will be focused on the Max Pro reel, which is a step above but still positioned in the sub-$100 price point. This reel is widely available and can be found at many department stores.
