Is The Abu Garcia Max X Worth The Money? Honest Review 

LOVE this reel. It's a work horse, and as you said, casts clean and smooth.

I used that reel for stock trout fishing did well and yes worth it imo!

I'm glad it doesn't have black handles Red. I'm a Max X guy because of the handles are color to match up. Just got the ABU Garcia STX orange nice look. I'm glad the black is going away from rods and reel.

Unless u are a tournament angler that fishes 4+ days a week, this reel is great for the money...Abu Garcia makes the best baitcast reels, IMO...i have 6 black max, a few silver max, 1 pro max, and the updated black max x....gear ratio is the only con
