Abuja is a modern city heavily built on the wealth of Nigeria's oil infractural wise far ahead of Abidjan roads are fantastic whiles Abidjan is a city built from colonials beautifully on colonial ideas the city is well planned their road networks are wonderful i was their some years back saw the wonderful enviroments of Au Plateau,Macory ,Yopugon just to mention few the city is fantastic their samedi randevous which is always missing in anglophone cities in a nutshell Abuja have an edge over any cities in West africa just for the fact that it is modern .Abuja my choice.
And you’d be completely wrong. The footage of Abuja is from 15 years ago and only shows the outskirts; while the Abidjan footage is more modern and focuses on the central business district.
Both cities are beautiful! But I vote for Abuja for the Green. Beautiful tropical trees.. Afrika is a hot continent and we a blessed with beautiful flowers and tropical exotic trees so why don't we use them. Plus people can take shelter under the tree in the hot seasons
Bro stop saying East Africa and Southern Africa cities are better than West Africa cities. That's misconception and total ignorant. You keep saying that all the time. Try and visit city like Dakar, Abuja, Abidjan, Lagos, you will be amazed. Accra are one of them, even smaller city like Cotonou is also trying and is one of the cleanest city in West Africa. Don't sit one place and begin to judge by what you see. You need to travel to those cities before you can compare. The only country in Southern Africa that you can't compare their city with West Africa cities is South Africa. Country like Tanzania and Namibia I don't think any of their cities can beat Abuja, Dakar, Lagos and Abidjan. In Eastern Africa country like Kenya and Ethiopia may be their capital city may stand a chance.
saying that west african cities are laggin behing is not really true. Abuja, abidjan, lagos, dakar and accra are not behind any african city. in fact Abidjan must be among the top 3 most developped cities in africa. All ideologies apart, it is probably the most developped city in Africa.
I m a ivorian, and I living to Abidjan so i say Abuja's most beautyful . I love Ivory coste and Nigeria and Évry country in the afrca . I like this vidéo. Lisfe in africa.
From a distance I would say Abidjan is more beautiful simply because Nigerian architecture lacks creativity. Nigeria and Ghana should work more on aesthetics when building
Totally agree. I've also noticed that Nigeria and Ghana's cities are too car oriented which will not be good for its citizens in the long run. I think Dakar is best looking city in West Africa.
