Mine regrow in a jar of solution on the kitchen window if I don’t have room in the tanks. It’s a real winner of a vegetable , also blanching the stalks make them less bitter and s little sweeter. Loving this channel❤
I have Chinese celery in my Aerogarden unit for about a year now. I have cut it down to the root 3 times and it regrows super fast. I’m kind of scared to plant any more. 😂
I’m growing Chinese celery in aeroponic unit. Smaller stems but strong flavor! I cut it down to the base and it regrew in about a month. This plant does not stop. 😂
I only eat celery in long cooking like stews. I grew it last year for the first time and 😂yeah it looked more like a parsley bunch. I’ll try to wrap/tie this year’s lot. How does the supermarkets get those tall tight bunches. Thanks Mike for sharing🍺🍺
hmmm that was great but i have a weird question if you take plant from soil and put its roots in direct sunlight they will dry and the plant will die but in kratky these air roots are dry, so will direct sunlight harm the roots and dry them (like dead roots) or what ?
@@tinacarter8785 i tried kratky method but i got i proplem my plant died because of water evoporation when the water evoporated it went to the air roots and wilt them and thier color changed from white to brown
The roots are not expose directly in sunlight. They are inside the container with water and nutrient solution. The above roots are moist from the condensation inside the container. 🌱🙂
Yes its hard to find that size here. It's a DIY grow box inspired from tuna/grape styrofoam boxes, made out of foamboard from home depot. here is how its made it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DfDqsObRkV4.html 🌱🙂
I cheated. I use foam and or coroplast over tool boxes and tubs now. I have ruined the plastic lids over time and the dollarstore foam board and the coroplast I have made tops easy.
