Im a riven main and a wall jump in 2:40 is insane bc sometimes when i play the Q jump right after pressing R goes straight instead of the mouse click

Practice makes perfection, try going into practice tool with dummies and understand the timing to do so ^^

I have a question. Isnt deaths dance better in this senario as a 3rd item? Since enemy team dont really have much heavy armor stackers. Or am i missing something? Thats just how i learned to build on riven

Hello! Cleaver gets a lot of value on Riven as she can procc it very fast, their top/jungle got armor boots (Xin probably will get more armor eventually) and reducing base armor also counts. I believe that the most important stat here is the haste tho, maybe Shojin would have been a better choice. Death's dance its only worth after you build either Black Cleaver or Shojin because of the need of Ability haste on Riven I think (Unless they are full AD)

When should you be going hydra over eclipse first?

I always go Hydra unless they have a massive tank (Black cleaver start for these), I've tried Eclipse start but it doesnt give you the sustain and wave clear that Hydra provides. Try both and see what fits you best, Riven is a very flexible champion and sometimes what works best for me isnt the same for you ^^
