What you will see in this video is a test of a folder. It is a bit rough and I would not do this with just any folder. The solid build and the low price of the knife made it easier.
This was my very first knife purchase. I didn't think it would be this good, considering it's a Chinese made knife. But it's one of my favorite knives I own. I must agree with another commentator, in that you have a very pleasant voice & approach. There's nothing more irritating than watching a video with the reviewer being like a knife on a chalk board. Thanks for a great review
Thank you! I am glad you liked the video and found it useful. I am also very happy you like the knife. It is a good one! Very sturdy and very comfortable in hand
Great job man... I was searching for a new Edc knife, and after a saw your rewiews about that Ganzo, I ordered one just a few minutes ago... Thank you man! Mulțumesc!!! 🇷🇴
You weren't kidding, what a beast of a knife. I watched (and liked) all three videos that I found. I believe that Buck knives always used 440C in their knives, at least the older classic Buck knives, and I always liked this knives. I used them for everything. I'm going to have to pick one (or a couple) of these up. Thanks for the videos and cool cat!
+pinkiewerewolf I also think that Buck used 440C in the older models but I do not own any...The only Buck knife I have is a Vantage. That one is in 420HC and does a good job. The G720 is definitely a good buy. A bit of work to get it to perform but after that it should keep you satisfied.
Very nicely done buddy. At $17 why not push its limits and see what it could do. What a great setting too...cabin by the river at night with a fire blazing merrily behind you. Nice! Be well my friend Craig
Yep, you certainly abuse that knife. Pretty amazing it holds up so well. The cross cut was particularly impressive. I don't think I have ever done that to any of my knives. The pins and lock must have a good steel and heat treat too. Thanks for the fun and information. Really liked the scenery to from what I could see as well.
+saradreaming I am still testing it...so far so good. I am also planning another batoning session and i might see how much it can take before giving out. for 17$...it is a good deal
Hi from Italy Jones, I hope You are doing well. I ordered my ganzo g720 few days ago and I would like to ask you your impression after years of use. Is the axis lock still strong? No blade play? What about the screws, do they lose? Thank you for you nice work.
+Dennis Strickland Thank you! I try to be as "Down to earth" about this stuff as possible...I am testing knives and sharing results with people...no need to take myself or it too serious :) Have a great day Denis
+stephan123321 Danke Stephan...
I just got one .its a thick tough little knife .it may have the outline of another knife but its very different . It seams shorter than it looks in pictures .how much does the knife it resembles weigh ? This knife makes me want to baton it .
the G720 is heavier than the SR1A but the weight is well worth it. much thicker and more comfortable handle. i think you shoud be fine batoning thi knife. it can take it. but if the hits are too hard you might end up with a bit of bladeplay...mine has it but mine has split a lot of wood...I still use it..for the price you pay...it is really a good knife. I prefer it over the SR1A
Its cozy Time... ;-) Thanks a lot for your Videos and reviews. Go on, 2016! Thanks! Christmas regards Dirk
+Otac I was thinking about it. I like the RAT model...but first I have to scratch a few other things off my list. I ordered a G710 from gearbest...but this one has been on its way to me for over a month....
My G720 has a slight amount of side to side blade play. Rat 1 does not have any blade play. But the G720 is beefier for sure, it should be able to handle more heavier tasks. The Ontario feels nicer build quality, a little lighter smaller.
The RAT 1 was/is one of my favorites for comfort in hand. If you tighten the pivot enough it should not have bladeplay anymore...The G720 is my most abused folder. I still have it and use it...
+mikedifeo The cat lives there...He's one of the few cats I do like. There's also a dog...you'll get to see him in the future I am sure...as he too gets between me and the camera more than often
nice testing video! i m about to buy 2 items 1st a mora heavy duty MG knife and 2nd a laser cut mil tec 36lit backpack i ve seen some reviews on them.. anyone has any opinion about them let me know thanks anyways :)!!
+Chris Din thanks... THe heavy duty MG is that the Robust im od green? If so..you can check out my videos on the Robust...maybe they will help you out in your decision
+Michigan edge Thank you. You might need to modify the edge angle but after that I am sure you will like it. I would be happy to hear from you about this knife
+RarelyAccurate It would have been better but during the day there are too many people at the cabin. So most of my tet videos there are in the evening or at night. However I think that everything I did could clearly be seen.
It is better than the lion steel .the lock is better .and you can get like 10 of them for less than a lion steel. It also shows how over priced the lion steel is . Besides everything is a good knife .a production user shouldn't be over $50.00-$100.00 no matter where its made . The only ones i hear crying about it looks like a over priced knife is the ones that got ripped because they paid way way to much for a user knife . The companies so far as i have heard aren't doing any crying . They have shit tons of money they don't care
