Here I thought I beat the game 3 years ago. Not to mention I didnt finished almost any of Mirei quest and Demon Lord dlc's but this dungeon alone is something else! Thank you for the video. I think I'll start NG+ soon 😅
Can't believe I'm just now discovering your channel with how many times I've played these games. Until recently, I just brute forced my way through with very little knowledge of status effects and the like. Don't think I've ever finished the abyss server either
This video is extremely helpful I been playing this for a while now and I just discovered this part of the game and I when I tried it out I realized I was outmatched by ridiculous odds but after seeing your video I am now armed with the info I need to take these guys down and I'll use this same method for the master cup if possible thanks a bunch!
It was a pretty good guide, my only gripe with it might be that i prefer Zwart over Alphamon Ouryouken (it might deal less damage with his Piercing Move but it has one more Equip Slot for large capacity usb and the INT build makes him tanky to both INT and DEF), but even then great job.
They're both extremely good for the role. You can't go wrong with either one but Aphamon Ouryouken is the fastest possible runs thus, ever so slightly better
I actually used Zwart as well. When I did, I partnered him with Neptunemon. Together, they can do a lot of Water damage. But in my findings, Alphamon Ouryuken and Ouryumon consistently do more damage.
thank you, i just started playing the game on my laptop, and i just finished hacker's memory. i am now actually confused because i have two finished save file, cyber sleuth and hacker memory. but i think i will start by trying to get alphamon, need high abi so it will be a lot of work, i do have platinum numemon and platinum sukamon with tactician usb for easy exp
I *cannot* beat this guy on the subsequent battles after you beat him the first time. I tried Omnimon, wargreymon, and hououmon. When that didn't work I tried a mon with character reversal to make him weak against data types. I then had Rosemon BM do acceleration boost and her main attack which pierces. No matter what I do he always gets his health back with crystal revolution.
@@KooriPlays Most are. Not all are with max abi though. I also do stat distribution like Omnimon 42 atk 6 def 42 Int 43 speed. Brainy INT equip A I try to spread the stats to balance things out and give more power to a certain stat like INT in the end. Transcendent sword kind of sucks in this game really.
There's a fantastic guide on Gamefaqs which explains this. Basically, rematches with GranDracumon will come with 1 out of 3 attack patterns. One pattern is a pain in the ass because he keeps using a move which temporarily caps all damage your party can do to a meager 100, giving him ample opportunity to recover through Crystal Revolution or restoring Immortal King. On top of that, you can't even get a Master Barrier to drop from this pattern, just a Master Guard (which you have a chance of getting through farm development anyway). As the guide suggests, this pattern is NOT worth facing. If you see GranDracumon using Idle Bubble, Mental Break Field, or a Crystal Revolution that does no damage, it's best to just reset and start from the 20th floor again.
