I have an dell pc but there is uefi option but os is not updated in that system

So, i tried to install windows but it doesnt show up something "Press any key to install CD/DVD" What's the problem with it?

First thing I would do is check your boot settings. You can also get into your Boot menu as well by pressing F10, which I think is the one for Dell computers.

just picked up several of these machines.. they are old.. after a lot of work got window 7 to load .. the machines are XP and Vista. I want to use it as a house machine .. I am sending my teck son in law two three machines to play with ... Raid needs to be turned on to load software. and I used a old xp external DVD drive to load. it always asking for 3.5 these machines .. I don't have .. Do you have any other Bios and setting clips on this machine ..they are confusing at best and the seller wiped mine.. I will get thru this. Thanks for the help .. I want XP back on these machines .. but it refused to take it ..Lucky to get seven. I am loading all the machines with seven ., then I can hook up them up online. as XP will not go online anymore .. I will let you know how this works .. taking my time .. I want to save XP .. Lots of hardware problems .. will fix them .. Nice old machines .. todays crap is plastic ..

You can't. Almost all OEM systems you can't overclock on.

The bios in the T3400 is overclockable with the use of software like "throttlestop" . I have the same rig and have successfully OC'd both e8600 and e8400 cpus in this computer.
