@Brooks Hadlin I don’t think you can buy a ‘21 Cobra ready to drive without all the emissions equipment. Even Peterbilt will sell you a ‘glider kit’ to avoid emissions.
@@littlefrank90i always thought that they handled like a dream because of their lightness and reputation as a track car damn ig theyre straight liners as well
Facts. Timeless design that modern car makers could easily look upon for inspiration. Beautiful curves and lines. Instead they think making their cars look like failed origami experiments with grilles large enough to swallow the Earth is a tasteful design methodology.
Man, older cars were built with passion and it shows, those things have a soul, modern cars are just appliances and companies just try to sell you the very same thing multiple times over.
I don't know why but this video is exploding in views 😂 This was a few years ago and I've filmed it after having a chat with the owner. I honestly have no idea if it is a Cobra or a replica, but it was really cool to see... Anyway, enjoy the video. This was taken during a time where I was having a depression and was one of the first times I've left my house. @@Nikkeftw it's quite crazy. I've been on RU-vid almost since the beginning (2006) and never posted anything serious, but never had a video going like this.
That’s a really beautiful car! Thanks for the video! If I may ask, I’m assuming that you’re in the United Kingdom somewhere? Noticed the plate wasn’t from the US. Dax over there makes some beautiful replicas.
So anyone who drives a petrol sports or performance car has a small penis? I didn't think so. Enough with the electric csr praise. Will never come close to the feeling of driving a petrol car.
I've always thought the Cobra was the best looking car ever made. You rarely see the hardtop version, but I gotta say, it looks just as good as the convertible!
60's classics in general really have a beautiful and timeless design. The Cobra 427, the 250 GTO, the E-Type, the 68 Mustang Fastback, the 240Z, the DB5, and so on...
Been following Cobras for 40 years. Best looking hardtop I ever saw. I Like it. If You have never driven a Cobra then you will appreciate the top. They are a pain in the ass to drive in weather.
Heat soak, yank V8's are really bad for it, especially when in a small engine bay like the Cobra, i had the same issue with my Firebird (which already had a huge Iveco van battery), cured it with a high torque mini starter.
@@Markycarandbikestuff bruv iveco batteries are massive. i cant imagine that being a proper solution , why didnt you go with a heavy duty starter from the get-go
@@unclesamthejew8740 Wanted to mount the battery in the boot (trunk), wanted a battery with the most cranking amps, biggest one i could find in the local parts store (Halfords) was an Iveco van battery, the heat soak issue was a teething problem when i first got the car on the road, despite having a reconditioned starter the previous owner fitted the car would start fine cold but had trouble hot (sometimes i had to leave it a while till it cooled down), fitted a high torque mini starter (Powermaster) bought from Real Steel here in the UK, no starting issues at all after that.
ufff... if you ever see and hear a propper superperformance Cobra with a 7.0 you know, this thing is no ac or kind of this quality even the engine is a 427
So many little things right with this car! And the white tyre wall writing is just the icing on top! Whenever I see an old school build that doesn't have it something is missing.
I was caught out, spent most of it admiring the lack of fighting, swearing or queue jumping on the forecourt. Those were the days. Car’s good too mind.
yeah it honestly looks way better. they also made a coupe aswell but it looks completely different. the le mans car. www.superformance.com/themes/default/assets/images/cars/daytona-coupe/slider/01-original.jpg www.superformance.com/themes/default/assets/images/cars/daytona-coupe/slider/05-original.jpg
I was going to mention the E-Type, and I think you're wrong. The cobra and E-Type are two of the most ugliest cars ever built., right next to my 2001 Pontiac Sunfire.
LOL he has the same problem i have with mine: when the startermotor gets hot when you stop i.e at a tankstop, it barely spins... well-known problem. If you put a thin insulationshield between it, it helps... a bit...
