This is their most underrated album for sure. Full of gems such as Rising Power, Guns For Hire, Landslide, Nervous Shakedown, and this song.

The guitar riff during the chorus is what makes this song. That riff is just too awesome.

How can people say this album was mediocre? This song freakin' rocks!

Why did this song never become one of their live classics??? It’s an absolute banger!

Flick of the Switch is one of the greatest rock albums of the '80s, I don't care what anyone else says. I bought this album the day it was released and loved the hell out of it. As a matter of fact, it was my favorite album of 1983 (and there were some phenomenal albums out that year). Any TRUE AC/DC fan MUST have this album in their collection. This album just RULES!!!

After Back in Black (which can't be topped) Flick of the Switch is my favorite 80's Brian Johnson era album. It's raw and rocks hard. I love this album.

If you look closely, Malcolm is actually playing most of the song with a broken string. Amazing to watch these brothers at work.

Flick of the Switch was the Let There Be Rock of the 1980's, raw and energetic! It's a criminally underrated album and the last album that has Brian's voice still in tact. By the end of the Flick of the Switch tour in September 1984 his voice was SHOT.

Since Malcolm's passing you and hear just how powerful he made the rhythm. Big difference. They never sounded the same since.

What you're seeing in this video is new drummer Simon Wright, but what you're hearing is Phil Rudd's drum work; he's the drummer on the whole "Flick Of The Switch" album. He left/was forced to leave right after recording that album, but was thankfully back in the drum seat again starting with 1995's "Ballbreaker". Phil is the secret ingredient to just about every great AC/DC song from 1975-1983 and again starting in 1995 (for all studio recordings; others have drummed live circa 2015-2016 and again starting in 2023).

2:35 you see Malcolm has a broken string. I have a Gretsch just like what he is playing here and I have the same gauge strings he used, they’re very heavy, 13 - 56, so to break one, it’s really takes some beating on. Wow.

Malcolm made some great riffs, but this is among my favorites. His rhythm guitar part in this song had a hell of a groove.

Awesome underrated album! Those who dismiss it fail to acknowledge the tough act they had to follow after Back in Black and FTATR. On another note, did anyone notice Malcolm "playing" the last part of the song with a string hanging off? Hilarious!

This was such an underated album, so many great in your face rocking songs. I think 1 reason it was so overlooked was the time period. You had Mtv, spandex, makeup, big hair, flash and cash music that AC/DC wasn't a part of. I rate it a very close second to BIB.

I love how they are miming or playing along to the studio track and Malcolm breaks a string at some point after 1:36. Because Malcolm always plays hard. To quote him: “Don’t just tickle it, hit the bugger!”
