lol senior citizens are you 64 or something? Never heard someone under 40 call someone else a senior citizen, unless they were at work thinking that is a proper term to describe older people. Americans are so scared about getting old they just make up words to fool themselves. Just say They did good for their age, sounds more respectful and more intelligent ;)
There gonna rock on until they physically take there final breath AC/DC has been around for almost 51 years!! I applaud them for still trying to keep up like there younger selves despite the backlash they’ve gotten from this concert as to why they haven’t retired by now🔥🔥
If growing old is hell, then die young, but remember that death does not exist in reality, the soul really exists after the transition to the otherworldly subtle world.
@@dante4591seriously. Always in the background behind his hair. But his brain and his guitar will be the reason angus and bon Scott made what we know. Brian was a regular at a bar I worked in FL and he talked often about how much he loved music.
Bro , his 30s? You set the bar really low there lmao…..I’m 49 and would run circles around this guy . I’m by no means in great shape. It’s past time to retire gracefully here let’s get real
@@TheBeaver50 I agree, unfortunately Brian Johnson sounds like he can barely get out the lyrics and might need an oxygen mask. Angus also sounds slower on the guitar, basically it really lacks the energy and punch. I am a huge ACDC fan but would rather remember them in their prime years ago...time for them to retire for sure.
@@dominicsdailyvlogs178 .... which could be next week according to this performance. ACDC was awesome in their prime, but at this age they should have just written books on their careers, they probably have many stories to tell over the years.
Yes but it's time to quit. No point in damaging your legacy. Angus can still play the riffs the solos not so much anymore. I don't want him to damage his reputation. Time to quit. They are legends and always will be.
Respect, they don't downtune the songs to make it easier on the vocals. It is a rough reminder of time, but still rocking and they will forever be the best hard rock band of all time.
They downtune since 2008 Not sure why they thought it was a good idea to do this in standard (they also did highway to hell in standard for some reason)
Doesn’t matter how old you get, music we always loved will always exist no matter where what we all do. So enjoy every moment in time 😊❤! What a great band to go see? They’re up there in age, so what they created iconic music 🎶 moments for us so endure it!! Thank You!!!
I cannot say how much I love ACDC. So I will let Buddy Guy say what I want to say: ”I remember listening to some of my heroes when they got older and thinking it wasn’t the same. I don’t want someone coming away from my show thinking, ‘He doesn’t sound any good,..”
Never seen them have a bad night, but everyone is entitled to have shocker, on that note Brian’s voice could not withstand that sort of punishment for much longer. I seen The Rolling Stones have this sort of night for about a decade straight, so hold your head high boys, it’s been a fantastic ride
dude's 77, bro. of course his voice isn't gonna be as good as it was 30-40 years ago. Though I'd still go and just enjoy the music I was brought up with.
Worked a guns and roses concert this year. They musically sound the same but the lead singers from both bands have abused their voices over the years. Seems like no one that attended the concerts minded too much so rock on
Well, I think we can say 2024 is going to be their final tour. That's probably how they sold it to Cliff in order to have him come aboard one last time : give the audience (and Brian) a proper send off and make it fit with the 50th anniversary of the group.
I’ve been a huge fan all my life… saw them in them in their prime at the monsters of rock in ‘81, ‘84, and ‘91. And all their uk tours since. Sadly now it is time for them to be remembered as they were… the greatest rock band of all time.
I just said this to my wife, I saw them on the Fly on the Wall Tour and Black Ice. I will listen to them the rest of my life....but its time to retire with dignity.
I guess there going to make a come back, they sound pretty good. I’m surprised because of there ages, and I thought Cliff was done, he was going to start staying home with family now. But they all still look and sound good
Man huge AC/DC fan since I was a kid. The first album (cassette tape) I bought was Back and Black in 80 at the tender age of 10. I love it all but honestly most my favorites songs are from the Bon days . The last album was still solid and was nice tribute to do as a bounce back after Phil’s legal issues, Brian dropping off tour because of the hearing loss, and Angus’ passing. Its probably time to hang it up, write memoirs, do interviews, and make documentaries. Right now they look like many HOF athletes who should have retired a year or two before they accepted it. Several of the live performances I’ve seen of Geddi and Alex since Neil died have been similar….Lee just can’t hit the high notes and Alex cheats a lot because not fast enough to fit all the notes in. Surely its the vibe of live performing they are hooked on as its got to be hard to give it up after so many years because these legendary bands really have nothing to prove and its best for fans to remember them from when they were at the height of their prowess.
Its a shame... but I have to agree. After seeing the guys from 74' when they played at an Ice skating ring with about 20' people, to now...sometimes we have to concede, that our best days are behind us. That goes for most people, musicians, dancers, athletes, singers..or any artist...unless your blessed I wish them nothing but the best.. the ;loss of Bon..( Bless him..). then Malcolm..beyond words..Brian has done a brilliant job for many years, and I admire him for that..However'' sometimes, its better to leave them wondering...What if ?? I love the guys...but my heart breaks...we all get old..not that we want too..neither did our parents..or grandparents..but thats life. For all of you Acca/Dacca fans out there...Let there be rock!! Will always be..one of the best bands, I have ever had the pleasure of seeing ...and Knowing..... Bon"". will see you for that date..I didn't get to...on the other side. And to those to biker bitches, that saw me with him...got P"d off..followed me to the toilets, and beat me up so bad I never got there...Hell...aint a bad pace to be !!! Because of you... I never got to see him again....Till then, my friend..... XXXX
You mean Malcolm''s passing no Angus'. It is time to stop. They an still decently play the songs but he is struggling with the solos. Time to quit. No need to damage their reputation. And to be fair Alex Lifeson is still in much better shape and can still shred although not like he once was able to. Looked up a recent solo of his because you mentioned it but yes both should quit. They haven't done too much damage to their legacy yet. But nobody wants to see a musician who is barely able to get through a song. That is just sad. There is one guitar player who still is outstanding although also a little more sloppy than in his prime. That would be Jan Akkerman of Focus. Have you seen some of his recent stuff? Guy is 77 and still an amazing player but he also seems to practice a lot. But even he should soon quit. You can't outrun time.
THE BAND OF BANDS FOREVER ANGUS YOUNG TAKE YOU GUITAR AND THIS RIFF HOW ONE TEENAGER OF 17 YEAR OLD IS HOW THE WHISKY ALL ONE LEGEND THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO SALUTED FROM HONDURAS
Saw them twice in a week at Hammersmith Odeon and later at Donnington Monsters of Rock festival. Amazing band. Not sure I’d pay now tbh but I’m old and so are they 😅
Thought We grow Up together. They are legends and only playing for US and there own Legacy so let us salute them. Thx for the last 30 Year of being the King‘s of Rock and role
Absolutely no disrespect intended, but it's definitely time to call it a day. I'm a big AC/DC fan, but it's clear to see time has understandably and undoubtedly taken it's toll. A lot of people here in the comments are just in denial of that fact.
@@Vanes218 Angus's intro seemed a bit laboured to me. A few missed notes and significantly slower than it should've been. He's definitely not as fluid as he used to be.
Angus young did say this was the hardest song for him to play, lost people play it wrong and don’t realize he’s picking every note, it’s not just hammering the notes
pensar que brian jhoson en river 2009 tenia 62 y se lo veia super joven y lleno de energia 15 años no es nada cuando sos joven. pero ya los ultimos años 10 años es una graaaaaaaaaan diferencia
Lot of negative i was reading and it's kind of sad. ACDC Is my all time favorite band. When i was 10 my dad gave me their who made who cassette. A month later i got my first guitar. Few years later i bought my first sg. Never made it big in music. Actually a crane operator by trade. But its like Christmas when your a little kid. The magic never dies they are timeless classic, still the absolute gods of rock. I will always miss Malcolm but nephew stevie does a hell of a job, and what an honor it must be to play with those guys. ❤
Well, I’m a musician myself and therefore I know it’s hard to quit. I been an AC/DC fan for many a year…but looking at this…Brian sounds like he needs a cab to get from one end of the stage to the other.Perhaps it’s time to jack it all in. Not easy for me writing this.😢
They are legends. No need to damage their reputations. They haven't embarrassed themselves yet. There is still time to quit before you become a joke. Time to quit.
I've loved acdc from 1977 ,but hell lads that was painful, especially for poor Brian, the once easy songs are now to high for him,you can tell he still wants to rock but struggling, was hoping to see them one last time in 2024,but not sure they can do a full tour now,ah well as long as they come to Manchester ,England yee ha
@@mickwalsh8136 He started to go downhill vocally after flick of the switch. If he'd have limited himself a bit more his voice would have lasted longer. He still sounds ok at donington 91 but the damage was clear.
@@stuarttacey I totally agree with you,but the way he's always sung with that technique he has he was never going to keep it going like he did in the eighties, tbh I stopped going to see them after b in b after seeing them 8 times,6 with bon,I just didn't connect personally with Brian, but really hope I get one last chance to see them, for old times sake
@@stuarttacey Nah he was still impressive in Donington one of the best concerts with Brian. It is a miracle that his voice lasted so long so he must have done something right. The Charismatic voice did a good video on his technique. But yes it is time to quit.
AC/DC: STILL better than anything in the Billboard top 100 today. Hope to hear another album, but, if not, they gave us one hell of a ride that will live forever. ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
@@BrassandWind1 buddy, this shit sounds like garbage. It’s at 70% or 75% speed and still is sloppy, unlike how it used to be. You’re on RU-vid right now, just watch an old recording 🤡
If you're lucky you get to grow old and continue doing what you love. Intelligent fans appreciate them for what they are and take it all in context. That being said there's a reason you quit and leave them with memories of perfection, the same way movie stars go underground when their time is past. To each their own I say. Enjoy life for what it is as long as you can because it's very short.
Si no te gusta, deberías retirarte.
@@JulianJDiaz pero que no te metan 150 pavos la entrada porque la calidad ya no la mantienen, y ojo no desmerezco lo que hacen porque acdc siempre me ha gustado
No. The problem here is that there is a huge difference between this clip and what they sounded like 2016. Between Angus playing at 68 years old today in comparison to when he was 61 years old. But it's still good enough. I actually like older musicians more. Comes with some sort of weight. But it's also possible that they were simply rusty in this clip because they haven't played live for a long time. My guess is that they will be tighter when they start rehearsing for the (if the rumours are true) upcoming tour.
