I know 70% of the crowd have never witnessed these guys in the good ol’ days, so this sounds A+ to those people. I personally think the 1991-92 shows were FIRE. AC/DC were the baddest band in the land at that point.
@@bingrasm I was too young to see Bon, and I missed their 1984 and 1986 shows when they came to my area in NY/NJ. I saw them for the first time in 88 (Blow up your Video) and I thought they were B+, but I went again on Razors Edge and it was wayyyy better!
Angus is playing like the young Angus again. I was a little worried at the beginning of their first shows but he’s seemed to’ve regained much of his old magic! Love it!🤘🏼❤️
Haven't seen this fabulous band since that great concert at Knebworth about 200 years ago😂....great to see them still kicking arses all over the world.....🎉
There's this very good recording of that exact show ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p7_JG72mcpM.htmlsi=sL5U8IKPQXKhP_uf I read somewhere it was recorded with a walkman
@@albatrossboss4639 yes there was one point he held both his hands to his heart he was overcome with emotion it's very emotional some bits especially with the crowd singing back it's just masters at work
Brian's great, so down to earth, never lost his sense of humour or humility. His voice might be struggling but I'd 100% prefer to hear Brian than anyone else standing in his place...
I saw them at power trip in October with 5 other amazing bands. The loudest concert I’ve ever been to! Ears did ring a little bit I wore high quality ear plugs with sound filters, but man was that a fun time! Glad you got to see them too
AC/DC show once again how great their songs are. Killer riffs, twist & turns, fantastic static. These songs work from A to Z, awesome for stadiums. Outstanding composers. Lot of musicians want to have only one song like AC/DC, but they can't. AC/DC can play the whole evening banger after banger! "Back in Black, Hells Bells, Shoot to Thrill, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Thunderstruck, Let There Be Rock, If You Want Blood... Rosie..." They are extremely reliable, respect their fans and never let them down. Still the best Hard Rock Band in the world!
Thankyou for taking the time and effort to film this, bringing ACDC all the way from Wembly to Melbourne and around the world! Always arocking and arolling go boys go!!
I was there, too! I was on the exact same level as you, but on the opposite side of the stadium and a section or two closer to the stage. It was such an amazing gig! Thank you so much for the upload! Hope you enjoyed it, too! 😊
My boss in America was there. I told him I saw it on RU-vid and he asked if I saw him lol. I was like "dude there were a lot of people there and the cam was focused on the band". This was pretty good I admit. But, I got to see them a few decades ago at MSG in NYC tripping balls for the "those about to rock" tour. My lord that was some show. Angus was just... ..well anyone else familiar with Angus at the time knows. But still props to the band. May they keep this up forever. The world needs good things.
As the title of the video said, "Killer sound". Amazing video! Thank you for sharing! I was there, and it was my birthday! It means a lot to watch this!
Happy belated birthday!! Ya, thanks to Apple for using top-quality mics and lenses, and thanks to AC/DC & Wembley for hanging massive stacks of speakers off the rafters for the punters in the top section!
Amazing how they all keep going, Brian and Angus are some of the nicest people in rock too. Thanks for posting and hope you didn't get vertigo, those Wembley seats look a lot higher than i thought.
We had a fabulous night at the seats beside you. It's not easy dancing about being up so high for us folk from the fens but the whole stadium was all rocking by the last third. Thank you for sharing this.
I was in section 101, and it sounded great! The Pretty Reckless' set had a lot of reverb so that sounded like an echo where I was, but AC/DC sounded fine. It was such a great gig! Hope you liked it where you were
I appreciate the irony of this comment given that you did such a great job recording and uploading this. However, the guy in front with the baseball cap, is showing all of us how we used to enjoy these shows. Until he apparently becomes bald and starts recording. He was once a fucking legend.
I was a little bit closer to the band when I first saw them. Southampton top rank, on there first British tour. Probably only about 100 people. Then spent over a hour back stage with them. Angus Young spinning around in circles right at my feet, mooning on top of his cab. What a night. Two lots of autographs from all of the band. No bloody camera,SHIT.📸📸 No bloody camera.
I am very glad that I was at this concert. However, I took a ticket, thinking that there would be the best seats upstairs. But the sound was terrible upstairs!! I never thought that it was possible to sell sound tickets with such quality! Next time I'll try to take it to the stalls. There are standing places, it's probably hard to see. But probably the sound is tuned to these places.
Wembley doesn't have the best sound retainment. Can cause an echo because of the construction, so it mixes. From where I was this badly impacted the Pretty Reckless because their reverb and whammy was so high, but it didn't do too much for ACDC, so they sounded good in block 101
I saw them on the Sunday gig, 1st time up in seats. Sound was brilliant as usual. Must be something to do with the layout of the stadium as they literally spare no expense when it comes to sound they have the best PA in the business. I normally get a ticket on the pitch and stand near the Sound desk guys. Best mix in the house😊
I just watched a Bon Scott doc today. About brought a tear to my eye. Not to take anything away from Brian. As a matter of fact Brian hosted the doc. And he gets it too.
@@DJVUK It‘s Wembley. Definitley. You clearly See the Camera Cranes on the left and Right of the Stage, the moving Camera on Tracks in the Wavebreaker Space in the middle and there also is an Spider Camera in the Sky above. None of that was at the other Shows.
aaah oo fun at their age wow...and THE PRODUCTION WOW.!! AS BIG AS THE MUSIC..1!! and also NOW KENNEDY 2024 '''MAKE AMERICANS GREAT AGAIN'' ''us help us all always and expose evil always '' GREAT JOB ALL...THANX 4 MAKING Tee with LIONS NAMED LEO the music worldwide. LOVE YOU ALL...!!!....MUCH LOVE.!!
Don't know about the others but where I was, just behind the barricade where the filming crew was, we were all jumping and had loads of fun. 🤣 Great atmosphere!
They put on the ‘same’ excellent show they always do. But pushing 70 and playing to 90,000 fans = can’t possibly by the same as previous tours/decades.
i ahve seen them 3 times in the 80's twice in the 90's the best they ever were was the stiff upper lip tour.but i missed the last 2 tours.this one should be the last.but late 200's they were awesome.top 2 bands of all time easy!
The pitch standing seat's sold out within ten minutes of going on sale. Seated tickets were all that most of us fans could get, although i did find a pitch standing for their second show which i regret not getting
Angus was absolutely amazing. Where does he get his energy from? The rest of the band were great. Hats off to all of them. We had one of the best nights out ever (only second to Motorhead).
I love Brian‘s voice and all the albums he’s on, of course all the Bon Scott stuff to, but Brian you’re approaching Bon Joviness, it’s time to hang it up call it a career I’m sure you’re worth 100, million, don’t besmirch your legacy
@@DJVUK Unfortunately, regarding Brian's voice, it's been like that for many, many years. Even back into the 80s. He can still belt it out on the albums, but live it's a different story. I can't blame him though. It'd be virtually impossible for anyone to sing the way he does and do it at top form in show after show after show. To be honest, I'm quite surprised he can still sing even at the level he does.
@@PitfallHarry72Today's digital studio tech can make anybody sound like a good singer. Brian's voice was shot years ago. The only raucous rock vocalist I can think of that seemed unaffected by never ending touring is the legend himself Noddy Holder.
I'm not on board with "their service to music". Most of their songs are cartoonish and stupid. They were appealing when I was 9 to 14 years old, but outgrew most of them quickly. Plenty of other bands have done hard rock, and the genre wouldn't have been much different if AC/DC didn't exist.
A broadsheet review of this gig claimed that the sound mix was terrible and generally slated the band, whilst begrudgingly admitting Angus was still a guitar virtuoso. Some things will never change, AC/DC, Purple and Saxon are still proving how great they always were.
Ya think there’s another album in em???Steve young is really talented for writing lyrics,he played in a band Starfighters in the early 80’s check out the song Power Crazy!!!!!!!!
One thing I have noticed about this tour is that it seems like Angus has turned down the gain on his amps and it is a more clean sound than the usual distorted roar you would hear from previous tours (which I thought was more impactful). I wonder if they have done this due to Brian's hearing loss issues.
I’d be pissed at the guy standing if I was behind him. It’s like come on bro… we’re in the upper deck..take a seat like everyone else. Don’t be that guy.
Always been a bucket list gig and not disappointed....I follow The Boss - 50 gigs now - I stood main pitch:- getting in was a disgrace -ticketmaster complaint re where to go awaits- crowd great BUT sound wasn't good 'down at the back' - disappointing that BJ didn't interact with crowd more....but sorry when you have seen SPRINGSTEEN little else comes even close.....CAMDEN ACDC POP UP PUB WORTH A VISIT _ I got a tattoo paid for by ANGUS!
I think Brian and Angus are the only orig members left? Even if so... seems to work for what it is. AC/DC fans are not ultra picky. We just know we like and roll with the changes. Explains how they can still pack Wembley.
I have been to Wembley many times and the new Wembley is not a patch on the old one in terms of sound. Old Wembley had speaker stacks the size of tower blocks...but the neighbours complained after Live Aid because the "decibels" shook their windows a mile away. These days they have crumby Bluetooth speakers dotted around the place that sound crap.......sorry dude.
I was sitting in the same section as you and have to say that, whilst the band were brilliant with lots of energy, I thought the overall sound was muddy and indistinct. Couldn't hear Brian's vocals at all.
Brian’s vocals are persistently criticized on this tour. But he still has command of the stage/show. Stadium rock is generally the worst, but with AC/DC they don’t really have an alternative.
