Great video! This rare Allertor is in great shape! I think you can hear an RM-130 sounding in the background. This is the only Allertor that I know left in Hoffman Estates.
@@EASsirenVids01 These later allertors never came in 8/12. They only came in 9/12, but there were 2 later allertors that were made with a 8 port rotor and this happens to be one of them.
Hey at least The T-128 is an 8 port siren replacing another 8 port siren (this allertor) instead of replacing a cool dual tone like a 9/12 or 10/12. Thumbs up for that.
I remember this one as a kid growing up in Hoffman Estates during the 1980s. Always made me nervous since it made me think the Russians were dropping bombs on us.
There is also another 8 port Allertor-like siren in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Except that the one in Milwaukee is the Allertor's father, aka B&N Mobil Directo. Plus, it's gas powered too!!!!!
