Yeah I agree, I found another cool angle I’ll have to try at some point in the future. I moved from Milwaukee though, so unfortunately it won’t be for awhile.
for sure this is an awesome spot!!! But my number one favorite siren mount of all is Rib Mountain's P50. The P50 is THE PERFECT siren for that spot, nothing fits that spot better.
For me, it was because I was scared to death of tornados and other sorts of disasters when I was a little kid, and sirens and fire alarms and other warning sounds always scared the crap out of me, and I avoided them. As an adult, they're fascinating. It's like getting over your fear of heights and becoming a pilot or getting into rock-climbing, or eating salad when you used to hate eating vegetables.
@@TheRepublicOfJohn Thanks for the answer. For me, I wouldn't say I feared tornadoes. I would actually try to get a good look at one. Several times here in Minnesota in the 80s I tried, but I only finally saw one with my own eyes in New Brighton in 1986. Turns out I was looking straight at the Brooklyn Park 1986 tornado from where I lived. It was great. I never liked the loud sounds of sirens though. It ruined the thunderstorm experience in my mind.
@@SirensOfSEWI Does Fulton maintain Milwaukee's tornado sirens? If so, best bet at getting the reverse wired P-50s corrected would be to report the problem directly to them. They recently switched the wires around on a Cyclone-125 in Bensenville, IL that was wired backwards for many years.
