@@TeachaKaren Thank you. I also watch your video about Vietnam ESL company. I'm also teaching Vietnamese students . And now just waiting for your new tips for Vietnamese ESL teaching :) You are so hardworking Teacher, God bless you :)
I admire you a lot teacha karen. I always watch your video. I am glad because its help me a lot to land a spot in acadsoc..this is my 2nd day in acadsoc.
I really Like you Teacher..because your contents are all always TIMELY, RELEVANT, ACCURATE, it shows the realism of an ESL TEACHER. You are not just a simple youtuber or content creator. You are a genius. I am from another esl company. But your videos are my go-to videos It really helped me, especially on how to handle rude students. I love it. Keep posting videos.
You are NOT just a teacher to esl students but you are a teacher to ESL teachers. You are my inspiration to move forward when I bumped into rude students...I am happy that i found your videos.
Oh my, this comment puts a smile on my heart. Thank you for appreciating my work, my passion. I am a self-made teacher and entertainer and it means a lot to get a comment like this. Salamat po 🥰
new subscriber here! I love your delivery of the lesson, it gave me a lot of realizations of how I should teach also in my internship on January (I'm an incoming fourth year on August)
This video will surely help me! I'm on esl training rn and I think it's cringe to talk to an adult in a way that you talk to a kid even if they're just a beginner and our mentor's example were always like how she handles young students.
Hi, teach Karen. My demo class is tomorrow I always watch your videos po and other teachers that are also from Acadsoc to boost my confidence, thank you for uploading informative videos.
Awww thank you for appreciating my work :) I am always happy to help my co-teachas. Good luck! Don't forget to smile and to show your bubbly personality.
@@TeachaKaren Hi teach, katatapos lang po ng demo class ko, and 1hr passed na po tas wala pa pong sinasabi TM and Trainer ko pero nakalagay po sa status ko re-QA and sa web po nakalagay is rescheduled, ano pong meaning non? failed po ba ako?
Hi, Teacha Karen! I'm learning a lot from your vids! Thank you for the tips ☺️ Keep uploading more sobrang helpful sa mga nagsisimula pa lang HUHUHU Ask ko lang po how do you do yung sa plane, train etc sa cam mo?
Teach, use Manycam :) Gawa ako ng Tutorial soon about Manycam hah. Basta free app yun, tapos kasabay ng mga kaechosan ko sa pagtuturo, pinipindot pindot ko lang yung pictures sa app na yun tas lalabas na siya :)
Eto kumukuha ng lakas sa mga subscribers! little by little I shall make it! HAHAHAHA I am sooo proud of your channel ms. Jac. Mejo kinilg ako na I got a message from the Pinay Super Mom!
The best way to learn if to master the phonetic alphabet first. Then try reading aloud with an audio book. Once you're more confident in understanding English, watch English TV shows with English subtitles and mimic how they sound.
@@TeachaKaren alright, thank you. And you're my inspiration, teaching is definitely your calling! I'm a new teacher and I find myself spending so much time designing the slides(of what I'll be teaching) and it's really draining. Do you have any recommendations of sites where I can get already made lessons(which I can get motivation and ideas to implement in my lessons)?
Teacher Karen, I am hoping you can reply. Can you share tips on how to handle IELTS classes? I'm about to teach one class (though di ko pa natapos yung course kaya po nagtataka ako). I can handle all the other books pero feeling ko hindi pa ako talaga ready sa IELTS. Thank you in advance Teacha!
@@TeachaKaren yey! Thank you❤️ I am watching your videos again lately to give me extra boost❤️ andaming student and bookings and sobrang nakakapagod😔 But your motivational kineme (a.k.a. your videos about bonuses) sobrang nakaka uplift😂😂😂
Hi Karen! Just want to ask a question about how you made your way through to online teaching (I'm guessing from the language you speak other than English, that you maybe a non-native speaker)? I'm finding it difficult to get through to teaching in institutions that teach online or in person, as I am a non-native speaker (nor hold a passport from certain countries), eventhough I've completed a 300 hour level 5 TEFL, and 180 TEFL diploma, with added qualifications of dip.counselling psychology, and other related psychology courses. The accent I've come across in my country is RP and neutral, and most people speak English as their L1. Can you share some of your ideas, also some tips and tricks, please?
To be honest with you, I think it was just how I was molded as a child. Thing is, we speak English 90% of the time in our schools in the Philippines. My parents sent me to schools that specialize in speaking English which helped me get a job at an American company where I worked there as a communications trainer.
@@TeachaKaren it's the same for me and most the people in my country too. My L1 is English and studied in the English medium at school, but when applying for ELS teaching jobs, most companies request for passport from native English speaking countries. Although I've raised this questions in several forums, the only answer given to me is sending a video to recruiters. Does that work if a recruiter specifically request for holders of passport from certain countries?
Hi Teach, I am using the recording feature of Zoom :) step 1: pull up class recording from Class in, step 2: play the class recording then SHARE screen on ZOOM (turn on recording of computer sound) 3: record your zoom call (this will record your talking and your class)
@@TeachaKaren Actually I'm just browsing videos that will give some tips and tadaaa! I found yours po. Kasi po I will start teaching Korean adult student po on Monday. Thank you for your tips. If I may ask po what will be the best app to use for translation po? 😅
That's what I'm using. The Tutorclient app and Aclassroom are unstable on Mac. So make sure you use the WEB VERSIONS, please check my video on Acadsoc backup 2021 posted 1-2 months ago :)
Hi teacher Karen, I'd like to know to be appointed in adults tutor class? And also, I want to know to become a trial class teacher? looking forward to your response. Thank you in advance Teacher Karen. God Bless you and more power to :)
Thank you teach! I hope these videos help: How to be a trial class teacher? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0tpnPBi5X_k.html How to have more adult students? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BtrBfmojzks.html Adults, are choosy! These students, watch our self-intro video to check our credibility.
Great video. just one little piece of advice, when you ask the Chinese students where they are from, it's better to ask : Are you from China or HK region? rather than : Are you from China or HK? Because it is politically right in China. So that Acadsoc will not be in any politics risk running in China.
When a student writes in Chinese on the chatbox, there will be a small square icon on the bottom left of the message. Just click that and the translation will appear.
Keep up the good work and keep spreading the good vibes. Be safe
