Absolutely GORGEOUS! I hope that a marriage that started with this lovely praise of God, which had to be a beautiful fragrance in His nostrils, is long and blessed.
Wow, that Crispin Glover sure can sing! Just teasin'. I was looking for a version lose to what we used to sing to start church when I was a kid. That's the one! Beautiful.
But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure. - Psalm 61:14-15
@UtahImplosion Wally is the one in the middle. The long-haired one is his brother, David Dunn. He's a musician...check out the first single for his new album that will be out 3/22/12..."David Dunn Ready to be Myself." (on You Tube)
@UtahImplosion I don't have any other videos of them singing together, although you'd think I would since there are lots of family jam sessions around the holidays and when we get together a few other times during the year.
Praise for Ever to The Most High !!! This video: Beautiful,testosterone-filled Pure Praise!! ` "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures: And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures" 1 Cor.15:1- 4
@leeashleedunn Do they do any other songs together? They really are amazing. Here in Utah, we have a Mormon acapella group called "Voice Male" that is popular. These guys could beat them in a second!!!!
@Gaeilgeoir I totally know what you mean, but I don't think this was jazzed up in any way! It was beautiful. Too many artists of Christian / religious songs think they have to change things to be all original to them in the song, with TERRIBLE results!
@leeashleedunn LOL - Yes, I do seem to remember hearing Micah as a girl's name as well, a time or two in the past! Nothing wrong with it either way! Which one of the lucky gents is Wally, then? The are AMAZING singers by the way, especially the long haired dude!
@Gaeilgeoir Well maybe so, but it pretty much sticks to the original melody. Everyone's different version is going to be "jazzed" up a little according to that meaning. At least they kept the same melody. I hate some of these Christian songs where the artists think they have to change the melody of an already-great song around!
Very good. Very VERY good. The ONLY thing I didn't like is the ending. It was kind of anticlimactic. If you resolve to a major chord, and sustain it, it would be much better. But still, VERY good.
+Gaggy Mott Lots of preachers here in Barbados pronounce 'God' like 'Gad' too. I hate to hear it pronounced like that but Barbadians (and probably West Indians in general) tend to think _everything_ American is cool or something.
