The Church have always been like this. It’s been much worse in the past. They get tax free status too. The C of E is as corrupt as a bankrupt Labour council. Islam is growing in this country - the only way to stop it is by secularism and laws for the people. We are a secular country.

Justin Welby has presided over a Church of England more concerned with politics rather than the pastoral needs of Christians. The church needs to concentrate on faith and keep out of politics.

He'd get a new job straight away with any number of "British" institutions ...like the National "Trust" a hospital "Trust" or an NGO all dedicated to the erosion and final destruction of our People their History and Culture , He'd be a welcome addition I'm sure.

Why is the Church of England sat on £10.3 Billion of investments when it could practice what it preaches on an ongoing basis, and actively support English Christian people in real need.

Because the Church of England is more concerned with increasing its own wealth than helping those who need it. My late husband, raised C of E, always said he would go to the Catholic Church should he need help as they would give it where the C of E would likely just slam the door.
True, he has allowed all the teachings of Jesus to be dropped from the C of E churches and allowed apostasy. I wouldn't want to be in his shoes when his time comes.

Money is important when you have thousands of precious old buildings to keep maintained with little help from the public purse. Is it more important than #Jesus? Obviously not.
He might also, instead of acting as a cheerleader for illegal immigration, most of it involving those arriving from Islamic nations, concern himself with speaking out against the growing persecution of Christians. And the majority of said persecution is happening in, well, what do you know, Islamic countries.

I don't think people recognise the threat that Islam poses to the values we hold dear in the UK. Their population is growing at an exponential rate and they know that in democracies, it's demographics that matter.
Agreed....Some of the direction this country travels is toward the gutter. Nevertheless, much is still good, it is my country, and we can make changes. The Islam thing is a very real threat. Have heard comments from decent and sensible people in various parts of the world to the effect that Islam is a megalomaniac, aggressive, and conquering philosophy. What we see in the UK today, such as political organisation and threatening of citizens, has taken place in many places throughout the world. It is part of the Islamic playbook and very very well funded .
I attended Ash Wednesday service to get my ashes. On leaving church I gave my vicar my letter of resignation because of the fake baptisms happening all over England, making a mockery of my own Christening. I also expressed my opinion on Justin Welby. I remembered I was a lady and held back as to what I think of him!

Yes , long ago they cast away the word of God and in its stead brought in what is called The common book of prayer , where you swear obedience not to Jesus Ch rist but to the earthly King , its the same today , tell one of their followers about salvation by faith in Jes us Ch rist and they will not sit beside or talk to you again . Its just fit to be closed down !.

I can barely step foot inside a CofE church while he is at the helm. Didn’t go even at Christmas this year, I preferred lone prayer at home. There is something deeply wrong in the institution and it feels just wrong. Greed and pomposity have replaced generosity and humility, it’s quite worrying.

Alot of blame on Welby, rightfully so, however, King Charles III is head of the Church of England. He remains aware of ALL CofE financial investments and corruption of the clergy.

It’s a historical quirk that they sit in H of L. Could accept it if they really are looking after the best interests of the country, but somehow I doubt that.
I remember when the National Lottery started, the C of E denounced it as a great evil until it was discovered that the very same C of E was quite a large shareholder in one of the companies in the Camelot group.

When God came to earth, he came to the least and last and the lowest and the lost, Jesus never a owned a home ,never held a political office, never made a grab for power. No one can serve two masters, either you will hate one and love the other, or you be devoted to the one and despise the other, you cannot serve God and money, Matthew 6: 24.What master is Welby serving.

I doubt very much if Welby is a Christian. Certainly his actions and those of the CoE do not support such a statement. He is overseeing a decline in church attendance and the tacit rise of Islam, which will, sooner rather than later, replace Christianity as the main religion in this country. He seems unable or incapable of seeing this result for which he is partly responsible for encouraging.
Islam will win I have long come to accept this. Props to the Muslims for not allowing secularism to decimate their religion like we Christians did. We can't hate muslims for wanting to win.

When my granddaughter was born not one church in my village would baptize her Catholic Methodist Baptist chapel because her parents didn’t attend church I told them all that I would take her to church but they all refused I asked them what about what Jesus ment when he said suffer little children to come to me no reply was the answer she is nor 22 yrs old and not baptized so what is going on now makes me angry I was baptized catholic went to a catholic school got confirmed got married in a catholic church but never go anymore since they refused to accept her into the church By the way her Father is a catholic but couldn’t take her because he worked on a Sunday
