On a few turbo cars that I have set up, They love to kiss low 11s and high 10s on the enrichment when giving those quick hard stabs. I admit it looks better and seems to make sense that it would be too much fuel, but they ran better for me (I think Sloppy Mechanics mentioned this on one of his videos as well) The hard part with acceleration enrichment for me has always been the light tip in. Takes me way too long to get it right! Great video!
You are right. I always say, give the engine what it wants, if it wants 10s then give it that. You are spot on about the light throttle stabs, it take a lot of fiddling to get it spot on. I think I may have seen that sloppy mechanics video before. I also watched and listened to alot of Scott Clark's content on the subject. Funny enough there is not much content on Acceleration Enrichment on RU-vid. That is weird. Thanks for watching
You mentioned too go by feel and sound. How does it feel and sound when you need to add accel fuel and hope does it feel and sound when you need to remove fuel? I assume it will want to stall or backfire if too rich?
how and where did you get this knowledge, you explained exactly what TPSdot means and how to read it, i have yet to find this information. there are so many parameters i dont understand on tunerStudio...
accel pum get fuel when you accelerate quikly, but this map have all acceleration on care. Fuel maps are only for constant revs situation( revs x load )
