I have had an accelerator for five years are so. Still works great and holding up well.Would have loved to seen the bottom made a little thicker but I know they are trying to keep it light. Definitely need to to ware a respirator of choice when mowing dry stuff.It is one dirty ride!! It does get heavy when mowing early morning or wet grass. I normally dump mine half full when it is wet "OLD GUY PROBLEMS". Great for SMALL lawns. Would hate to use it on large properties. Make sure to use mulching blade and it will hold a lot of waste. I run a Gravely 460 and it has a removable block off shoot. So it is easily swapped out.
@@tonyslawncare yikes twice as much as what I just paid for the Accelerator I'm gonna try some mulching blades this season right now I just have the stock blades on there for now
My first day with my accelerator. I tried it out on 1 day old grass and the fine grass gets threw those holes and clogs the holes so it makes it more difficult to see how full it is but I have a little over 3 acres and Just cleaning up those spots that was thick I had to get off the mover and empty about 20 times. If you don't wear some kind of filter . You will inhale grass dust.
@@tonyslawncare hey buddy I did have to cut part of the back end off to make it fit and move the bracket forward 2” I drilled the holes and the bagger fits just fine I used it yesterday for the first time very pleased and surprised at how much volume it holds
If i move it forward the catcher will not be flush with the front of the deck it is flush now but if i move it forward it will be more forward than the deck which i feel like isnt good? Every picture on there website etc. The catcher is flush with the front of the deck
Looks like they sent you the wrong catcher. IMO , if the hole is forward of the opening debris goes in the bag if the hole is rearward of the back of the opening , debris goes all over you. Wait until you get into dry leaves , you are going to get showered in debris and will be leaving trails. A lot of cash outlay to have that going on.
You never want to go in reverse with an accelerator bag because they're aluminum you touch anything it will bend scar scrape or destroy you have to get in the habit of going forward and turning to the left
Technically no but since theres all different brackets it makes me wonder too like maybe i could order another bracket for another deck and it would work?? Mmmmm....
The website has the brackets for all the different types of mowers the bagger is the same but the bracket is different for every mower so go on website call them to make sure you get the right one for your mower
