you need guts to share your failures and definately Shrikant has motivated so many students and professionals! thanks Fraz for interviewing him! keep up the good work!
This video was really motivating. I'm working at a service based company for the past 3 years as a Devops Engineer and looking for a switch to a product based company for SDE roles but faced rejections and was feeling low. Listening to Shrikant really gave me hope that I too can get a job offer from a product based company if I keep preparing harder for clearing interviews.
Nice video. I also was on the same boat. Started with 1L p.a 10 years ago from a grade D college with science degree in a service based company. Was on a cut copy paste kind of job for 4 yrs.. Now with 65L p.a non-maang.. Constant learning will take you places.
@@bloodthirstyworks depends. With 10 yoe u get less calls than a 5 yoe. At this yoe it's better you settle in a place for a while. And there are companies which pays more but they are only a handful
@@suunapaana5638done btech ece 2015 ,no job, again did course on java and web development for 1 year again no job.i have fear that I wouldn't be able to do projects even if I get a job.completely bankrupt and hapless living a dog's life.could you plz help and suggest me some same copy paste job like yours to start with.
I have worked in service based companies for 6 straight years. in the last 3 years my profile was into coding and believe me I used to work almost 10+ hours everyday because of the huge work and deadlines.. I never got a chance to work for 2 hours in a day because of huge micro management from the scrum masters. We used to write down what we have done for the day and how much time it took to complete a specific task with testing screenshots in the excel sheets so that it will be reviewed by managers by tallying it with Jira/Rally/Azure ticket board
I started my career in Bangalore with Wipro in 2015 with a 2.75 LPA and now I am in Londing getting approx 62 LPA. I think the best thing you can do is move out to a country where your skills have higher value. However, I do miss India and all the people there.
@@royalvillagediaries6435 Yes, I am a Java developer. If you have a degree in computer science, good communication and problem solving skills you can make a lot of money in UK.
2020-2022 was golden era in IT. I my self jumped from 5k month to 25lpa . Switched 4 companied and pretty much well settled. Right now situation is bad. Fresher barely can get jobs.

This was a really nice vlog, Shrikant was honest and simple to spill out the details and this sounded very encouraging to anyone who are stuck in service companies without knowing how one could transition to a product company. Great video Fraz, keep doing such videos. Thank you
Thank you much for motivating us. I am also having 5+ year experience and got stuck in service based company. Hope I will also clear product based company one day🙏
FINALLY a SUPPORT TASK guy .. 🤦 finally someone i can relate to ... M in the exact same phase... I'll be resigning soon ... Even when it's ression going on .. I'll push myself to the risk ... It's not good to do a support task for long anyways ... Let's hope for the best 🤞..
Please don't unless you have it all planned. I resigned because i had prepared so much and was getting rejections because of notice period. As i mentioned in the video pls don't risk it.
Now you can't because these success stories are limited to covid times when companies hire people in bulk and paying high due demand now it's not possible in huge numbers only experienced and People from Good colleges will select for these companies
I really liked the discussion and the points discussed. Actually the discussion was very detailed and awesome format of presentation with all the necessary queries that any of us working in services company has.
Thank you Fraz for these knowledgeable sessions. Working at Google and managing a successful YT channel. You are a motivation for all the cribbers who make excuses.
I am Mechanical Engineer. I joined Infosys last year and obviously no skill in programming and problem solving passed 6 months without anything..Started it as a task for myself daily doing coding and DSA for 1 to 2 hrs a day. Today there was Infy TQ contest and solved the two questions. Even I can say consistancy and learning Nature does help. Hoping I get Power Programmer role and get a good salary ♥️

What a man! We have our placements going on in our campus and due to recession companies are nit hiring much and on the top of all I'm from a non it branch (EEE) I have a decent set of skills but still due to my branch and rescission out if 10 companies only 2 will select us just for the coding round and even if you solve all the questions ita not guaranteed thet they will call you for interview soo these past few months were are little stressful but this video really gave me hope that if I'm true to my work success will follow 😁
Realllyy very very nice podcast or interview, whatever you say, but Srikanth's journey is very inspiring. Liking something is really important to pursue. Ek mei sbse strong bnna h, very nice sentence.
Fraz, I worked with Accenture back in 2007 as a fresher in one of its back office processes and was still offered a 2.2LPA package. Back in the day I knew my friends who earned really well in tech in Accenture even as new joinees. Not sure if they're paying as low as 3.3 LPA to beginner level engineers now. If yes, then I guess they've lost it.
Hi, I like this kind of podcast episode. If possible can you tell a story about any non engineering person like MCA or equivalent who got placed in a software company and their journey? Looking forward to it.
It's been 7 years since I am working in Accenture on Oracle support project. Should I start with DSA and start preparing or it's very tough to get out after such a long period? Or should I try to switch to Oracle? Please help I am really tensed and confused 😭😑
Me khud Accenture me Java developer hu😂. Randomly technology allocate nahi hota... Wo jo 3 attempt wala exam hai... Usme kitna score karte ho us hisab se tumko stream milta hai...baki ye ek sahi baat hai ke ... Jyada kaam nahi milta... Esa feel hota hai ke paisa fokat pe araha hai😂... And agar tumko teamlead kuch develop karne deta hai aur tum in time karke dete ho...then congrats 🎉 tumko sikhne ko mauka milega... Agar task me delay karte ho tto jaan lo...phir se developer wali kaam maat dhund na...wo tumko support pe daal denge aur khud tumko pata nahi chalega😅
I'm a 23 year old student in my final year of a BTech in Computer Engineering. There are currently placement drives happening on my campus, but I'm not confident I'll be able to clear the aptitude tests and make it to the technical/coding rounds. I have three different perspectives from friends on what I should do after graduation: 1. Get work experience first - it's more important than any degree (said by a friend in the Czech Republic) 2. There's not a huge salary difference if you get an MTech or not - focus on working (said by a front end developer friend in Bangalore) 3. Prepare for GATE and qualify for an MTech at an IIT to get a high paying job (said by a friend doing a PhD at IIT Gandhinagar ) I'm feeling confused about what path to take. My gut agrees most with options 1 and 2, but I'm not fully convinced. Does anyone have advice on whether I should focus on getting work experience first or pursuing higher education? What factors should I consider in making this decision? Any input is appreciated!
Choose 1st only Other are waste of time and if you don't have confidence then build it man prepare for apti and interview improve communication skills...they see whether you are ready or confident to do job...prefer role over salary and choose IT field only..don't go into core if salary is 8LPa choose IT with 4.5 lpa over core in 8lpa Mark my words
hi bro i am focusing only on python and R and i want to master it! . But by watching your video i came to know that i should learn vmware too ... Which will seriously Hamoer my foccus on mastering python and R . and any person would not do all programming langages present in the world .He would be alm over place
All IT engineers should protest against companies to reduce notice period. All comp want employee to serve 3 month np bit want new employee in 1month..this is simply bullshit.

I am 26 years old and still stuck in wipro as project engineer and salary is only 4.5 LPA, I am not really that interested in coding but I need 20+ LPA so, please make separate video on that
Need some help! Currently having 2 years of experience in support based project with little to no coding. I've been working on Azure and cloud computing which I'm liking it a bit. My designation is developer but I really want to build my career on low code roles(devops, cloud computing etc). Is it a good career path? Where can I see myself in 10-15 years?
I am working for Microsoft as a technical support engineer on a payroll of sonata how do I switch to technical I feel stuck in support role Shall I take courses in data science
