I have a Sister in our congregation who has a very large family. She is divorced and has no children - so she is able to travel all over the country to all their birthdays, graduations, weddings, baby births and every reunion and holiday they share. They all know her standards are based on the Bible but they also know that she loves each of them and prays for them. She does not judge them, she loves them. They love her in return. They know she does not do xmass but they sometimes give her a gift because she is a part of their lives continuously and they love her. She accepts their gift graciously and they know they are loved and accepted. She is amazing and i know Yah smiles on this wise woman who keeps the peace in her large family by enveloping them all in Yah’s perfect love! 💙 HalleluYah!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on how to approach Christmas. Yeshua didn’t call us to be on an anti-Christmas crusade. We should live peaceably with all people the best we can (Romans 12) and show grace and gratitude in all circumstances. A simple smile and thank you will help further the Kingdom much more than shouting “Pagan” from the rooftops.

Yes, plus the best moment to talk about the pagan stuff is when someone asks about it and is genuinely curious. I’ve never had a bad reaction from someone who is just asking questions.

EXACTLY, Bill!! I’m not going to walk into my 85-year-old mother’s nursing home in a t-shirt that says “Christmas is PAGAN!” either. People need to just stop. Remember we are witnesses for the love of Yahshua!! This has just become ridiculous, and is counterproductive is so many ways, causing strife in so many families and the enemy LOVES that. Keep it between you and Abba and only discuss it when HE leads. It’s between you and Him anyway. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Agreed. We need to stop being so nasty to each other. Specifically to those who just don’t know. Plus, I wonder how many would pass up a Christmas bonus at work? 🧐

I appreciate your compassion and christ like approach...some people forget that we aren't all in the situation where we can commune with a community of like minded followers. there are alot of us trying to navigate our convictions alone....even living with others who may not even be Christian nevermind torah observant. We have to be wise on how we relate to others, especially my brothers and sisters in christ that i respect and fellowship with that aren't on the same page. If asked i would be truthful, but I wouldn't bring it up...I'm leaving it to the holy spirit to spark that discussion if the situation arises.

I had a pretty long comment, explaining my view of this topic but was lost in technology :( I will just sum it up with this phrase..... It's not about being right, it's about planting a seed with Love. Also, do we back up our words of Love, with our actions. :) God bless!

I agree that we shouldn't be nasty like I have seen because a lot of people don't know any better so when we are told merry christmas, my wife and I just say Happy Helliday and no one catches it. You have to know me before you judge.

Some of us learned too late that passion -(righteous indignation or fear or disgust - so many negative feelings when we discovered we were offending our beloved Abba )-can be destructive even when well intended. Bridges burned do not rebuild easily if ever. The pain is endless It is Truth, Yahoshua said he came to divide, still He calls us to be gentle and quiet and love. Thats all, love Yah and love people. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜. We can only control the person living in this pair of shoes 👇🏼 Listen and learn from those who failed.
