It's one of the most wonderfully contrived gags ever and one of my favourites! This episode is also a favourite along with The Mainland with Richard Wilson.

It's missing the scene before, where he does the impression of an Asian person, just when a Chinese family is passing outside (can be found elsewhere on RU-vid though)
@@richardenglish2195 Who said anything about "being kind"? I have no reason to be kind to Graham Linehan. Graham is one of the unkindest people in the world. He used to be a successful comedy writer. Now he's a washed-up bully who spends his days calling strangers ugly on his sad little Substack, because he has nothing else to do with his dwindling lifespan. Why should I have to be kind to a man like him (and I use the term loosely) when he doesn't extend that courtesy to anyone he disagrees with (people who, I stress, have done nothing wrong)? He deserves every ounce of his own self-inflicted misery, and so I laugh at him. Boo-hoo.

Exactly. Just as the co-writer has become a hate-filled, er, person, so there is an increasing amount of far-right hatred against what are in reality a small number of vulnerable people who just want to live peaceably.
