YGO needs players like Dawnstar. Anyone invested enough to find these boards loves the game and shouldn't be forced to play "normally." Konami need to just let games end in draws instead of forcing every judge to find the beginning of a circle.

@@randommaster06 eh I don't see how we "need" players like Dawnstar. These are just overly complicated loops that have no purpose to do. If you want to FTK somebody there's 10000 ways other than overly complicated bullshit that makes judges sit there scratching their heads for 20 minutes. Also forcing draws is bad and why multiple cards have been banned before. There's good reason for draws not to be in the game. All of this could be done in solo mode on DB he has no reason to actually go pull it off against somebody.

Can I call a judge because my opponent is not allowing me to have fun? Please elucidate me on the exact number of milligrams of fun I am authorized to possess at each point in the game. Having official tournament policy be that judges must find the "most problematic card" is almost the worst possible solution for card interactions. Either ban all the cards that can cause draws or just start a new game. Don't make people wait to see which card Judge #714 will decide to remove.

@@randommaster06 I never said anyone was "having too much fun" I said the boards he was building were needlessly complicated and that there are dozens upon dozens of FTK's that are not only more consistent but also less of a headache in terms of rulings. Not to mention given how many games this guy scooped in ranked it's pretty obvious this would never make it to official tournament level play outside maybe a locals. It's pretty blatantly obvious that this guy is doing this solely to give the judges a hard time. I don't think having fun justifies giving other people a headache and bothering them constantly. Most other card games just let infinite loops exist which is arguably worse than removing the problem card (which is typically extremely easy to determine and rule on). It's also not feasible to remove all possible interactions that could end in a draw. Also tournament time rules make "just go next" not a viable solution to the problem.

I agree with this. The only issue is that Dawnstar does their shenanigans in rated duels, they should've done them in unrated in the first place so they won't cause problems for other players.

I respect his drive and creativity, and he’s a menace for doing it. He’s unparalleled with how he can set up monster board states, and for the first few times each one is amazing. But also, holy shit this seems awful to look at. If Dawnstar did less combos that necessitated judge calls and more jank combos like on Table 500 nonsense, I’d have more respect. But it just seems like a massive time waste.

He probably thought that meant that colloseum wouldnt trigger because it is impossible to fulfil the condition, failing to realise that the way colloseum is worded bypasses this

The problem with that Magic Mode is that Magic Rulings are freaking bonkers compared to Yugioh. I've heard of a scenario where they create 2 games within a game and then they play a card that let's then play a card from outside their deck to do something batshit.

@@Lord_Phoenix95 It's a card called "Shahrazad." Take the cards remaining in each deck (which could well include extra copies of Shahrazad), run a smaller game, and whoever loses the minigame gets their LP halved. The cards in the game then get shuffled back into the decks and the game continues as normal. However, there are a group of cards known as "wish" cards that can take a card "you own from outside the game" (read: from your sideboard) and let you play it in the game. Because that sideboard card is now in the mini-game, it also gets shuffled back into your deck once the minigame ends. I don't know what the payoff of that is, but the fact that Shahrazad makes you play a second game for the only payoff being halving LP makes it basically permabanned for wasting time.

@@BeaglzRok1 Bonus! If you play multiple copies of Scharharzad then you can have subgames for your subgames and just keep going with more subgames even after those ones resolve! A card truly befitting the queen who stalled for time with endless stories

So some notes: 1st: yes a inmovable gamestate being created is no accident thats what the deck was originally supposed to be before i switched it to the poke with yata thing to make it legal 2nd:yes i understand that a lot of thing i didnt do in the correct order but i was trying to go fast so this guy wouldnt leave, so even if my ordering or some details (due ti going on autopilot) i didnt do correct the combo i absolutely pulled off (if it werent for pikeru and not waiting to activate the field spell next turn) 3rd:Don't let this dissuade you from showing off crazy combos in rated to make people smile, just make sure to only use simple not extense ones on rated just like they advised try not to be so reckless 4th:Even if you disagree with their ruling don't be rude to marahie they are doing something for the community and we should appretiate it. Yeah, but they really shouldn't have been taking these decks into matches where people are expecting to play with a normal wincon in a ranked setting, really. It's basically just wasting their opponent's time, sadly.

the effect to force attacks is a different effect then the pop all atk position monsters. the effects don't interact, so if a monster can't attack or is summoned after the battle phase but is in atk position it would still be destroyed by Colo's effect
