I appreciate all music done with quality and skill. Dovydas playing in the distance, would stop me in my track's. Great music is a gift of joy from heaven. Having watched reactions for decades I will never understand why, people just don't get it. They're completely ignoring the free opportunity to enrich their lives. Dovydas is special on top of it all. He doesn't just play notes, he generates FEELING. From SRV to VAI he matches the power of the original - imho And his own, FLY AWAY stays with me all day. Liam Leonard well first of all I can tell you there are rules to music but if breaking them sounds better you can do that, but basically you have a root note of a song, in order to play along with said song there are certain notes you must hit within the scale of the key of the song. But there are also different styles of scales within the same key of the song. Pentatonic scale is one example, but around the world you will find different styles. Or you could view it mathematically with the number of intervals, timing, and frequencies. After a long time of playing guitar most guitarists would describe playing as speaking another language...which makes since since we all just manipulate frequencies with our face hole

I think the problem is that's he's extremely talented, but it's not just solely in one genre. Take Mayer for example, he started off in pop/indie rock (even though he seems like a very blues guitarist) and eventually transitioned over to some more bluesy/classical tunes. Sucks to say it but Dovydas has gotta choose a genre to get mainstream in before branching off.

Hey boss some advice that’s been helping me recently: don’t try to avoid your negative feelings, like social anxiety, try to just be with them and listen to them. I’m finding that I’m overcoming my similar issues more easily when I try to see why my 3.5 billion year old work in progress thinking apparatus often has really good but hard to hear shit to tell me and the more I just listen the easier it all gets. You are greatness, don’t ever think otherwise. If you doubt yourself, it’s because you place to much emphasis on how the world TODAY may perceive you. They’ll never understand as much as you do.
