Please watch: "Zane Plays Poppy Playtime Chapter 1!!! [Part 1]" • Zane Plays Poppy Playt... -~- I tired but did not succeed very well LMAO #guitar #music #guitarcenter
What’s making me laugh is he’s looking around to see who is like astonished by his “shredding” and literally there’s not one person around no one cares so funny
This video immediately took up residence in my ‘Cringe’ playlist. Just the hand gestures and expressions in the very beginning alone were enough to make me feel 2nd hand embarrassment… 🫣
There's so many of these vids now. Think it would be funny if someone made one and finished it by saying/showing..... no I really can't play har har. Maybe this is the first😅
LOL 😂 , just another kid with illusions of grandeur that's a million miles away from actually being able to play. Not even school band standard ,as for gigging in pubs give it 3-4 years and try again 😂🤔😉
The staff I have dealt with in a music store are beyond patient and helpful. I'm not a beginner, but me and accomplished guitarist should not be used in the same sentence. Hats off to you guys and gals at the store!
So dope, bro, like you totally blew the minds of all those actual guitar players, and those dudes who work in a guitar shop were like, wow we've never heard anything like this.. sick, bruh, you like totally crushed it. You must have had to sign a lot of autographs that day. So dope.
And there I was thinking you were another Tina S and at any moment you were going to let rip. Compliments to the shop staff who were so accomodating in your fantasy and must have seen and heard such performances so many times before.
No worries lad your bound to get better keep going no matter what people say practice practice practice it's the best way to learn . 47 years in and I learn more every day . Don't look for approval prove it to yourself.😎👍
@@N0vaiam no worries Lad . Try learning some black Sabbath always impresses the girls and it's not very difficult. Message me later and I will give ya some pointer's never hurts to learn new tunes .
I was a professional guitarist. About 25 years ago I was at my local guitar store in Waterford, Michigan. There was a guy sitting there just like you actually shredding. I didn’t recognize him at first. My 7 year old son grabbed a flyer on the way out. He said “dad that’s the guy who’s there”. It was Andy Timmons there to do a guitar clinic. He didn’t phase anyone. I’m sure people expect to hear unbelievable guitar playing when they go into a guitar store. One of the greatest guitar players of the 80’s was right there. He didn’t really impress me. You hear someone awesome guitar players at guitar stores. Keep at it, I’m sure you’ll figure it out.
I saw Andy Timmons and The Pawn Kings at the Bedford Blues Festival (Bedford, Texas) in 1997. Him and the band kicked ass, and played a great cover of Santana's "Europa".
I would use this video as a motivation to broaden your skills, start with 3 notes per string major scale because those are pretty versatile in terms of riffing or shredding. And as for gimmicks, learn some legato phrases, they sound almost as impressive as sweeping with half the difficulty.
OMG! Dude! you totally tricked those sales guys! They though you were a beginner, then you totally shredded and blew their minds! They are going to be talking about this and telling customers in this store for a long time! Those guys must have called their friends and girlfriends and told them what just happened in the store. Man I wish I was there for this, that was truly epic! Nicely done! You gotta go into other music stores and do the same thing and record it and put it on RU-vid! P.S. when you played RR I got chills!
Think I saw this on the news ?? Wasn't the place FULL of A&R Reps within 20 mins??!? 🤔😂😉😠, or maybe the Cops dealing with a noise complaint can't remember which, didn't Steve Vai try to get his number ??!! 🤔🤔🙄
Yes, just a bro making a video indeed. If he lost that lil arrogant smirk and high and mighty way he carries himself, people would say he plays well. Humility isn’t young peoples strong suits, Me included. But this guy, geez idk
Beginners usually only play a bunch of parts to lots of songs - they don't start playing songs in their entirety until they join a band. PHX, you seem to be impressing yourself more than the guys you thought would freak out because they hear that you can play.
I was about to say that I can't remember the last time I pulled a guitar off of a GC rack that was in tune. Then you started playing and sure enough; out of tune. Here's a hint; when playing Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love," don't just do down strokes. Use up strokes as well and it will sound way better while taking half as much effort. Use your wrist more and elbow less or it won't be long before you'll be needing a cortisone shot in the elbow. Don't hit the strings so hard. When you hit the strings hard, you won't get more volume, you'll just make the strings fret-out so you lose sustain plus you'll pick scratch the crap out of the guitar. Let the amplifier do the amplifying for you. You'll be able to play longer without getting tired plus your strings will last a lot longer. Also, you need to learn more than just the hooks. Keep practicing. You show promise and are on the verge of graduating to intermediate. Keep taking lessons. I'm guessing someone is teaching you because you played a lot of old guy rock like from fifty years ago. Salesmen will typically compliment your playing because they want to sell you a guitar. And finally, thank you for not playing, "Smoke on the Water."
"Shred?" I kept waiting for you to start playing. You are young with a bit of talent. Keep working hard and playing with the best you can find. Find some humility son.
@@hilariorosette8440 I would say it is both. I had zero natural talent and my friends did. One was gifted. It was brutal. I got kicked down to being the roadie. At 13, I thought I was going to die.
@@the_wexie "Talent is God gifted ability, whereas Skill is an ability in which you put your time and efforts to develop." A talent implies that if your not good at it you should stop trying. Where as skill is about learning no matter how many tries it takes you to accomplish your desired outcome. An atheist would probably explain a talent being a physical mutation that allows you to do something BETTER than others, like bodybuilding, Chris bumstead, to able to build that type of physique mostly depends on genetics... Or god gifted ability-Talent. Never in my life did ever think I was going to be a guitarist. I always thought guitarist we're always people that strum and sing (which is an over simplification of what music is TRULY about). I later discovered classical guitar and it's amazing soloist pieces... And other songs like Desperado SPECIFICALLY played only by lucas imbiriba. I started playing when my dad bought me a $10 first act guitar from goodwill, and wow I've made decent progress being able to play the first half of Desperado in 10 months and Sección A of recuerdos del Alhambra too. I don't see how anyone can achieve that if you don't put TIME and EFFORT into it.
They probably get 2 people a week coming into the store to show off, the store attendant kept his cool and didn't do what he normally dose and show this kid how to really play the guitar. I love it though a regular kid with poor guitar skills showing off, but he at least thinks he is the beeneez.
Or advance to " A Forest" by the Cure that's only the top two bass strings, jeez even though a years not long I'm sure genius could master this. Anyway wasted enough of my life replying to a few posts on this BS click bait 🤔😂, hell I'm as bad as everyone else except I don't think I'm Steve Vai 🤔😉
Keep at it kid!!!!! It wasn’t that terrible,,, I just think you need another year or two and you’ll be able to pull off some Hendrix or SRV!!!!! I want to see another video from you in a year from now!!!! Just subscribed!!!!
$2 wardrobe…. Flea market neck chain….. Yer Mom’s Yer Hairdresser ….. $439 Epiphone nevertuned….. Yer playing < Beginner and The comments ⬇️…… absolutely priceless !!!
@@michaelmarron8441 Maybe. Today, people are used to hearing 13 year olds playing Van Halen, or better. When I was a teenager, I used to impress people imitating Page, Hendrix and Clapton. Today, you'll have to imitate Rusty Cooley, Paul Gilbert, Michael Batio, Yngwie Malmsteen, or Guthrie Govan to impress people at Guitar Center.
Come on guys! The dude can actually play. I’ve played guitar for a lot of years but He’s not bad…. Got pretty good timing, Can do the hammers pull offs, blued bends etc. I give him props He’s actually pretty good
The true genius of this video is not the guitar shredding. The true genius is that by exposing yourself to all the embarrassing comments, you managed to get hundreds of thousands of views and over 600 subscribers, and counting. You are on your way to becoming a major influencer.
Famous for doing sweet FA 😂. I occasionally look at RU-vid , turns out to be crap so I stick to what I like Extreme Sports and Bikes,Each to Thier own, But things where people have a talent and they are entertaining.. !!.. F"@K who would ever Wana be a Kardashian, some might say $$$ But I'm comfortable and best of all I got Happiness and anonymity . It's a SAD world when you ask a kid " what do you want to do " and you get " oh be a famous influencer", 🤔🤔😂Zzzzzzzzz
