Found your channel yesterday and been watching all your university videos as i'll be starting my first year at Lincoln in September. Incredibly nervous, however your videos have helped me to calm down and not panic as much so thank you
Rookie mistake going past the science building if you're crossing the train tracks anyway. Go up the steps at 6:20 to cross the tracks and get to the other side of uni qucker. Top tip from constantly late student who lived in pavs.
this makes me miss pavilions sooo much, i lived here for a while, didn't realise what a great accomadation it was til i moved to manchester, got so much more for your money at pavs! x
I lived in paves about 3 years ago and the common room used to be the office and where the offices are used to be a bar I loved my little studio apartment :)
The common area and shop has changed! When I lived there the common room area wasn't there it was reception and the shop was a cafe and upstairs was a bar. I moved there when they were brand new like 10 years ago :)
I loved Pavs in my second year....the best part was the viewpoint of the pathway to the University, watching the chaotic scenes at 3am on a Wednesday night.
awwww you had a completely self contained studio?! I love that! this makes me miss halls soo much, cannot believe I've graduated already! I really enjoyed this :) xox
Bit of a random comment but the laundry room is massive compared to other unis I've looked at! Haha, this video was such a good idea, I wish there was some for the uni I'm going to!x
Hi Alice! Love the videos! I'm moving to pavilions in a few weeks and am just wondering if you get to choose your room in the flat or if you get allocated a certain room? Thanks! 💋
I'm just about to go into year 11 but I'm already thinking about uni, hehehe. and your videos make be really excited for it! also i was wondering what happens if you lose your key thing, because i am very forgetful! ly!
Hey Alice, thank you for doing these videos, I'm staying in pavilion house this year! Can I ask you a random question; did you have a pin board in your non-studio room?
Hi Alice! next month I'm going to Pavilion House and I would to know if Pavilion provided iron, saucepans, dishes or glasses. Many thanks! I like your videos 💞
Hi Alice I have just saw some of your university videos and I would like to ask you some questions. Have you met any international students at Lincoln Uni? I am from Spain and I may go to study there but I am I little scared to don´t get to meet new people. Secondly, do you recommend me staying at an accommodation that have like share spaces, as a shared kitchen or in a private one in which I don´t share areas. Thank you.
this is soooo weird its literally changed so much since I lived there in 2013-14. Almost makes me wish I was moving back there this year but I have a lot of crap memories there so maybe not ahaha
yeah like seriously the common room didn't even exist when I lived there, there was just a few crap sofas and a busted pool table inside the laundrette lol
Hi Alice, really enjoying your videos on Lincoln Uni and finding them really helpful as I will be attending in September 2017, and was curious to know if it is better to go for on campus (Lincoln courts) or off campus (pavilion or Bradford quays). I prefer Bradford quays or pavilion but am worried that there may not be as many first years in off-campus accommodation. I would like to know, in pavilion 1st year did you find that there was loads of other 1st years (18/19 y/o), not a lot or 1st years or an even mix of 1st, 2nd and 3rd years? (Also if you know anyone that stayed in Brayford quays, what they thought of it?) Thanks Ellen x
I wish someone would do this for the uni that I want to go to because the only thing I have is the virtual tour online but a video would be so much more helpful 😫
Hi Alice, applications for 2017 accommodation have just opened and i'll (hopefully) be studying at Lincoln in september! On the applications pavillions doesn't come up and just wondered if you knew why?
How much did you pay for accommodations? Im looking into some unis (ive got like 4 years but better prepared than not right?) but im just debating about the accommodation fees
#flatgoals p.s this is one of my uni choices and the term dates on the website say that christmas break starts from the 23rd of december? what date did you leave for christmas? is this the final date that you can stay in accomodation till? also i love your videos💙
I stayed here too in my first year, and the general rule is that a guest who isn't a student can't stay more than 4 days in one week, but it does vary so you'll have to check with wherever you're staying!
I lived in pavs for two years and never filled in for my non-uni friends to come haha, they just followed me with my fob if they needed to get anywhere :)
