Glad to see this! I was just pricing out these speakers (in a three-way format) to replace the underseat sub (8" stock, will use custom bracket) and door & tweeter in a '08 BMW M5, Perfect timing!
Where was the crossover mounted?? That component set looks SICK...but due to its ultra slim construction they look like the will not handle mid-bass very well.
@@ryanb8736 i freakin love my morel virtus 602s very low punch and warm. Focals might be more detailed? Thats before my dsp tho ofc. I love them both . I got infinity kappas as my rear fill those are similar to focals and perf for rear fill but morel is a hole different technology and they do things different from others
@@DirtySouthFlorida3 It’s great to mix them up like you did. I’m doing Morels and Focals mixed. Best of both worlds. I love how Morals have extremely tight mids with super tight drum sounds. Such precision. In rears, I will do Focals so more sounds play as a surround. Like you did with Kappas. That’s how you get a 3D animated sound. It’s always great to mix brands to get the best. Which Focals did you have?

This is a downgrade if i've ever seen one... Those nano should ONLY be used in situations when you absolutely cannot fit anything else.... I can promise you the midbass is less than what he had before. At least the installation quality is great now.

Hope you guys can help me out I recently installed a pioneer 120bt stereo to replace my factory headunit i had a line out converter with stock stereo and my subs played perfect no problems now I installed my aftermarket one hooked it up ran my rcas connected everything where it has to go I can hear my subs playing but you can barely hear and feel them playing only if I stick my ear close to it what can this be and my bass knob is on full?
Also. I love the long videos that show every part of the install. Like the hour long one where you fixed the guys car after he took it to the shop 4 times.
Yes the GoPro battery went dead. He had already pulled the wire into the door. It is really the easiest car to do it on. Next time we have one we will do a video on just that
FWIW to everybody I used 14 awg for my mids and tweets and there was not room in the factory boot for it all. (2017) I cut a little hole in the bottom of the door side boot and went thru the grommet under the molex. Works fine but isn't as clean looking.
