As an accord owner this makes me happy that our motors are being used as swaps Gets me excited for what future development can happen from where the platform sits now in terms of performance
Man, I have thought about this swap for the longest time. Awesome to see it done. It would be cool to see the same done for auto nsxs with the 10spd tranny

Dream car, unfortunately I've missed the boat on nsx pricing. Maybe one day 🙃. On adjustable stuff, somone really needs to make an adjustable k series throttle cable bracket too.
@@VTECAcademy yeah, in my kswap rd1 crv i used a stock k20a crv throttle cable bracket but the cable on the stock rd1 crv (b20) was too long, beyond the adjustment threshold of the cable. So i added a 10mm spacers between the k20 bracket and the throttle body, now my stock b series rd1 cable works fine. A way to adjust the length and maybe angle of the bracket would be ideal. Not sure how you would engineer that and make sure its still rigid/locked in place after adjustment 🤷♂️
@@PistonAvatarGuy I don't know about that when I have a friend who had a 95 Accord V6 and he put a turbo on it was making 500 horsepower the only thing he had to do was put a stronger head gasket
@@CRXJDM88 But you're not going to see C-series engines handling over 1,000 hp with any sort of reliability, while many other V6 engines do just fine at 1,000+ hp.
I've been messing with these old Honda's since the late '70s. But recently picked up a Lexus IS300 (3300-3500 lbs) Wanted to weigh the costs and availability, but with a 3.58 LSD rear, I don't want to be reving it constantly just to daily it. The GE-2jz is a heavy pig that gets horrible mileage. So comparing an LS 5.3, J-series 3.5, and the K-series. I have friends that did a LS swap, and actually get 25+MPG if they drive IS300 "nice".
I wished Honda make a true NA V8 or V10 for the NSX. It deserves a real super car engine and not those V6 or turbo highly strung out 4 cyls that's about to blow at anytime.
@@CRXJDM88 yeah talking about swapping. Not to many cs out there and way over priced. Kinda like a b18 type r why bother unless your looking for status or almost original rebuild.
@@VTECAcademy dang, hopefully we can see them being used in more applications in the near future. They work really well in the accord sport . Some are in the low 11s with the auto. Really cool sleeper daily.
This guy literally knows nothing about the benefits of Direct injection engines. I would be using it and we are already past 600 with hondata and stock ECU
