#AccordHFP 

I've had my Accord V6 6MT with HFP kit for a year now. It still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. It hasn't become stale. That's the sign of a great car.

Coming back to this after a year. I still have my Accord 6MT with HFP. It's great. I haven't found a vehicle worthy of replacing it yet. I thought the new Supra might be a contender, but nope!

$4620, plus installation is a lot of money for this accord. That pushes this car to 36k to 39k. Similar pricing for a 2013 Camaro SS coupe starts at $33,535, including a $900 destination charge. The 1LE package adds $3500. I just think Honda should charge less or come standard with that pacaked on the 6 speed.

If it's "performance package" why not add a limited slip differential instead of useless plastic body kit? The suspension upgrade makes sense .

I still have my 2005 HFP accord 6spd. with the world phasing out gasoline and manual transmissions, this vehicle will stay in the fam forever!

I have to say, driving this car was a total blast!

You will be ok! you still have plenty of other auto makers to choose from in the market if you don't like were Honda is going, I still like and own Honda and Acura products, but just keep in mind there isn't a auto maker that's 100% perfect!

I have an 08 v6 coupe with the HFP kit. I take my car to the mountains and I've put it on track. My biggest complaint with my car is the lack of a limited slip differential. When driving the car at 6 or 7/10ths, the car is great, but push beyond that and you quickly realize that the car has more engine than the chassis can handle. I like the updates made to the new model but without the hardware to go with it, it's hard to choose it over competitors such as the Hyundai Genesis coupe.

Where have you been RJ De Vera??? Btw this Accord seems like a really nice everyday-er, but the handling still looks like it lacks stiffness.

Would BC coilovers be better than the HFP suspension?

I think people asking to make this car RWD are asking a bit much. It would be better if Honda kept the FWD layout since essentially it is an Accord but for the coupe worked on the weight distribution more. Make it as close as possible to 50/50.

Yea I have the 14 honda accord coupe with hfp package. ... The steering is way too loose! Now I'm comparing it to the 08 acura tl type s. I also had the 13 ex honda accord sedan. 12 ex civic sedan. And a 92 honda prelude. Which I feel more comfortable with there steering than my 14 hfp coupe! Wouldn't mind seeing a bump in hp from a hfp and a normal v6--- either way I love honda and acura

As a Honda fan, i got to say, Honda really needs to pull it together and bring the spirit back to the cars and customers. Those who drove TRUE hondas from the 90s and early 2000s i think really appreciate what Honda can do as company. A little suspension upgrade and tune is always nice, but common...the 2013 civic Si is one SAD excuse for a car of HONDA heritage. Same goes for most if not all of their entry level line up these days. Bring back the RACE in TYPE R! The legendary ITR, CTR, & S2K!

They should have an RWD option like other companies have RWD or AWD options..not every family out there will want an RWD car.

What a load of crap too...no concrete numbers shown or discussed. Just a whole lot of Kool aid swilling. "all the hard stuffs done" ....woo a body kit, lowering springs and maybe different sway bars and struts?...We'll never know because they don't tell us jack! Straight from the ricer poser performance playbook - all it needs is smoked headlights/tailights, some neon lighting and sub woofers and a whale tail spoiler LOL!
