Just to add from my experiences in the Army. When we took our PT tests women were held in lower standards then men. They had to push out almost half the amount of pushups as men to pass ('woman' style push ups on their knees at that) and had almost 4 full minutes more time to pass the running section of the test, and still most of them struggled with a passing grade. I am not doubting that there is bad ass women out there, but the fact is you cannot fight genetics.

To be fair there isn't much difference between WoW and Candy Crush. They are both casual games that require mostly time or money, repetitive, and keep you going with a sense of achievement without much effort. Also, point out most female gamers on PC play games like WoW, LoL, or TellTale games. All those games tend to have management or reaction time watered down compared to similar games in the genre or are slowly paced(or just not games in the case of TellTale).

Here's my thought, when those 'free the nipples' feminists say that boobs aren't sexual; you have to take into account nature as well then, if you want to argue that by nature boobs aren't sexual. So in nature for example, peacocks and other similar animals use their tail feathers (and in the case of some other animals, some other ancillary body features) to attract mates to you know, have sex with. Now in my opinion that's what boobs are; there must be some reason why most straight males are so sexually interested in boobs (why not an elbow or some shit? and for the argument of "oh if we covered another body part most of the time like boobs at held it up to such secrecy in the same way, it would happen the same as that"...well most people cover their feet or stomach, doesn't mean I would be sexually aroused if it was covered less often. Hell most of the inside of the body is not seen by the naked eye in most cases, doesn't mean if a human being was turned inside out, I would get a hard-on cause "oh it's been covered all this time and now it's not!" cause that's stupid), I think it is biological in part by evolution. Sure the brighter peacock tail belongs to the male, but that's not what my point is; my point is that such thing on one gender can be used for attractiveness reasons to attract a mate, as built in to that animal by nature and evolution, even though originally it isn't really a sexual organ. Secondly, if they want to argue that they should be allowed to walk around with their chests open because men do, well (a) men don't randomly walk around bare-chested everywhere (in fact other then the beach or the pool, it's even looked down on men for doing it if say for example a man walks into the office like that) and (b) I can stare at a male friend's chest or even pat them on their bare-chest or non-bare-chest without them screaming sexual assault immediately. Sure, depending on how close you are as friends, you will get odd looks back and may even get punched if you don't know the other guy, but that's as far as it would go, whereas with women you can go to jail for that shit. Not to mention for very close friends you can get away with doing that a few times without it being a problem, whereas no matter how close a friend the girl is (unless they're your partner or girlfriend or friend with benefits) you will get fucked up, shouted at and/or sexual assault charges ramming you up the a'hole. So I'm sorry if those type of women want to say that their bare-chest is the same as men, well firstly it's obviously not, but secondly then I should be able to look at it or touch it without going to jail for ages (sure they can punch me if I'm not close enough in friendship to them, but if I am close in friendship to them, why should it be a major issue (other then giving me slight odd looks)? Oh and yeah I know your comment is not necessarily in direct relation to what I've been speaking of, but my comment is close enough in relation to it to bring this up. Besides I disagree with you, how science usually works is that through observing a reaction or a happening, a hypothesis can be made based on said findings. So it is very obvious it plays a role in attractiveness if, oh I don't know, most straight men (and some women) are attracted to it. Not to mention how ancillary things like peacock feathers work backs up the claim that an ancillary object can be for that purpose as well (as explained in my first paragraph above). Basically through observable science, we can see that the majority of males (and certain females) find it attractive, and since there are other examples in nature of such attractiveness measures on more ancillary body parts that are not necessarily directly related to sexual intercourse, there is some evidence that backs it up as being a sexual attractiveness measure in terms of mates. And as someone above pointed out anyways, there are certain scientific and biological studies in the science and the biology field among experts, not to mention some scientific tv shows that back up the finding that it does play a role in attractiveness to some degree at least.

Surprisingly enough yes, that's actually it, they've been trying to construct this narrative for a while now, I recall seeing articles 3-4 years ago, saying that women were making up nearly 50% of "gamers". What they might have wanted to point out in the articles themselves (and not buried under 50 hyperlinks to other articles still thrice removed from the actual study and data) was that this included stuff like people playing Candy Crush on their phones and people playing clickers on Facebook.

It's actually worse than that, some of these studies count everyone who has ever played any game (including candy crush) as a gamer. Even if she quits after 5 minutes. By this logic I'm an archer, a fisherman and a stamp collector.

I'm a 29 year old female gamer and within my MMO, the average player tends to be a 21-24 year old male, so I can definitely second your experience. I also don't come across many women like me, especially in the raiding community. You'll maybe find 1 female to every 7 males there (sometimes as many as 2 women in an 8 person party!). xD You actually find more trans women than biological females sometimes.
