I been in this trade in the state of Florida for 22 years. I would call this a textbook install. Looks like hes using a town and country or h.v. setup. Extremely effective product with alot of recent upgrades. Nice job on the video and install bro.

There were several people selling and installing accordian shutters who could be found on Facebook marketplace.They did my house,only thing is they didn't install the locking pins.I just learned yesterday they were suppose to be on them.Guess I will have to hire someone else to correct them.Thanks for video,it is what I wanted to check on.

Excellent step-by-step video on shutter installation. I did notice that this is a wood-frame house. How much more difficult, if at all, is the installation on a block-construction house?

Thanks for your comments. Sizes are as follows: 3/16" drill bit 5/16" hex head drive. The pins are 1/2" so 5/8" would do the trick.

My windows have a window Sill that extend out from the house. Is installation the same, or start with bottom track?

Could they be installed on the inside because I live in England and we don't have hurricanes however we do have thieves who can't keep their hands off your property

Good Vid. I would suggest the you give the drill bit and screw drive sizes used in your install. Also you used a Step Down Bit, what is the size hole is needed for the lock down pins.

Why not use rubber stoppers at the bottom of the track. So that the Rolling track can not go up to far.

Does this window shutter comes with the 5-point locking system? Pins to hold blades?
