Always makes me laugh how fake these videos are the reality of being a landlord is more hassle than its worth even if do all the tenant checks & really picky. There is no chance he is making £5k profit on 6 properties especially in Burnley / Liverpool. Why would you continue working a full time for an extra £2k paying 60% tax.. Banks don't allow you to take all your money out there are arrangement fees & minimum terms.
Sounds like you just don’t get it. Bring a landlord is more hassle than it’s worth😂 bet warren buffet would have something to say about that. I have a small portfolio I’m looking to grow and I love it! Profitable, easy to manage and great fun! Just because you’re not smart enough to handle property and be a good landlord doesn’t mean the next person is the same
@@tomcooper2976 Clearly I dont get it, yet its apparent from your response your not a landlord or your so hands-on your kidding yourself your making a decent return. warren buffet famously buys stock not property fyi think you need to educate yourself on the dunning kruger effect and the definition of a passive investment. The first thing I do is put £20k in a stock & share ISA & £40k into a pension per year & dont lose any sleep worrying about interest rates or the cost of gas + electric in your HMO or the tenant wrecking the property. If you get enjoyment working another job I am pleased for you but unfortunately residential property is no longer profitable for higher tax payers even via a ltd company.
I just want to add here that people do not and imho should not risk getting into debt to fund their property education. I think investing in financial education and property education is a great idea - just make sure you can afford things comfortably. I find Samuel's videos inspiring and suggest reading his books in addition to his videos.
Agree Emma especially that tragic news of that guy spending his last savings on Samuels training to not succeed and sadly take his life after depression
Guy sounds like me. Currently working 12 shifts in A&E at the moment but might look at accounting. Property investment I feel the key thing is your job. Need at least a decent wage job to have so you get a mortgage and not save years for a deposit.
You are a hero! Thank you for what you are doing to help for others, especially in an A&E department. Accounting is useful and ties in nicely with property - you could do both if you wanted. Most important thing is you though! Must again say thanks for being a hero in helping others when they need it most 😊
I just wanted to say I've only just started watching your videos and I've been trying to watch as many as I can. To try and hopefully start my own journey. I work a lot of hours and miss a lot of family time so hopefully with your teaching I can become FINANCIALLY FREE
I bought 7 houses 🏠 too during the lockdown to nw as the property mkt was still open. Well done lad its all about the mentality & discipline to graft 💪
Hey Samuel, Your videos are inspiring to me. I live in United States, I’m 19yr, still trying to figure out life. To be honest I just want be financially free, but how can I do that in United States. Will you show me how please? I’m willing work, I just need help, some guidance?
You can make money if you have money… if the guy didn’t have the money or someone to give him 40k to start investing… he would be working in the same job 👍
@@peters3724 so had money… doesn’t matter if you sold your car or refinance your house… you had money invested in something… what is difficult is to someone without money, house or anything else to start in this business.. 👍
@@RicMura nope took 2 years to refinance moneys never sitting there on the table..I used to sleep in a flat on the floor we all start with nothing..no excuses just find a way
