Ali was a mere shadow of himself before he was exiled for 3 and a half years. He talked about the damage that not being able to train took its toll on him mentally, physically and economically. Hats off to two of the greatest. Muhammad Ali and Smoken Joe Frazier Amen/ASHE (×7).
You mean: "somewhat" of a shadow AFTER he was exiled for 3 and 1/2 years (those being a boxers prime years). Yet, in spite of that disability, Ali still went on to show his greatness, that eclipsed other fine boxers, by becoming the first three-time Heavyweight Champion in modern Boxing History.
@@JAWrightonline Marciano is the greatest, he retired undefeated. Mohammad Mouth was defeated by 5 different opponents. The only thing the greatest about Ali was his mouth.
@@JAWrightonline You are just speculating. Marciano defeated everyone they put up against him. If both were in their prime, I doubt Clay could take Joe Louis, since you want to discuss eras. Rocky defeated a lot of guys much bigger than him. His biggest opponent outweighed him 74 pounds.
I wonder if Dunn inspired the character Rocky. This fight does give rise to the “what if” thought and that’s what Rocky films were largely all about in the beginning.
After watching all these boxers/fighters from the past til now🤔🤔🤔Floyd Mayweather is truly the BEST EVER💪🏾💯💎💯💯. Like seriously 💯. He is the definition of a Boxer🤷🏾♂️
When he returned after the 3.5 year layoff, he was past his prime but was still good enough to beat everyone, although it may have taken a rematch. He still had the skills...they were just different.
Richard. Dunn. His. a. Very aggressive. Fight he. rush. Ali. never gave Ali any breathing. Chance, before Ali. Finally make him weak and defeat him, D. guy is a. good fighter
I watched this fight live with my white friends..We were all Ali fans . Dunn looked so dopic compared to Ali and we laughed so much through the whole fight,if you can call it a fight. By the time Ali performed that famous wind up, we were all rolling on the floor. So much for racial prejudice.
Man if Ali trained harder and developed an impenetrable defense, no man wouldve ever came close . His defense was sloppy cause he had feet to fall back on .
Ali gave a lot of white fighters the biggest paydays of their careers-Dunn, Wepner, Quarry, Tex Cobb, etc. He knew that they would never have as big a payday.
I’m not understanding you Ali lovers. The guy was a DRAFT DODGER plain & simple. No denying that. Didn’t want to fight for his country but had no problem fighting in the ring…
The issue is a bit more complicated, going back all the way to 1960 and the draft board classifying him as undraftable, mentally deficient. And he was never going to be a combatant, let alone gi to Vietnam, so that's a bs argument.
