They had to yell at him for several minutes to stop the game, when it says in the regulations that he should have stopped it at the first sign of danger. He did the right thing but way too late. In Denmark we've had more than one incident where football players have been struck by lightning during a match/training. It is no joke, he should've stopped the game way before.

For those who dont understand why all of them wants to stop, is because if the lightning strikes the pitch the whole grass gets electrocuted so if anybody is standing on it, they will get striked
@@quenking2241 Maybe that plays a part, but lightning strikes are just dangerous. Richter isn't the only one that was struck by lightning, it's policy to stop games during dangerous conditions, Eriksen having a pacemaker means even bigger danger for him but soccer fields are just dangerous during thunderstorms.

Here on brazil a group o teens died suring a football match, they dindt have a sane person to stop the game, in total 8 of the 22 kids died and 3 suffered 3rd degree burns and devoped some type of movement disorder
