Nice review mate. Random observation, but this watch is an almost carbon copy of the cancelled TAG Heuer Carrera CH80 that was never released. Great looking watch - just wish it didn’t have the central ticking seconds hand!
Beautiful watch, Simon. Also, to fix the misaligned subdial hand, you can usually do some combination of pulling out the crown 1 or 2 positions, then push both pushers at the same time, then push the B pusher to scroll through subdials until you get to the one you want to fix, then A pusher to adjust. Marc from Long Island Watch did a RU-vid video on how to fix common Quartz chrono movement subdials. Good luck!
Thanks for the info Cecil and it’s something I became aware of post recording this review. The problem was, I never really liked chronograph’s before so didn’t know. Thanks again my man 👍👍
@@WatchtheTime You’re welcome, Simon. I literally just got a Certina chronograph a few days ago, and 1 subdial hand was misaligned. I was in the same boat as you since I couldn’t return for another watch as it sold out the next day. But Marc saved the day, and the watch is spectacular. I’m not really a chrono guy, so this Certina is only my 2nd, the Seiko Flightmaster being my 1st. Love them both, though. I think I just like watches in general too much 😉👍. Again, your Accurist chrono for 40 GBP is a great pickup. For me, getting a great deal on a watch makes the watch so much more enjoyable. I suppose that will make me a budget watch enthusiast for life 🤷😁👍
Very nice looking wach. Got a few good bargains at TK Maxx, but never a watch!! You took off only 2 links for your 7” wrist, as you said the bracelet might be too tight for my 8" wrist. It could look good on a nice strap too
The problem with TK Maxx is that it looks like a disheveled charity shop and you struggle to find things. This was a good score though and I’m gutted I flipped it tbh. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍
Easy fix pull crown all the way out and use the pusher to click it back to correct position....sorry I'm not too good at explaining but I'm sure you get my drift, good luck
