I started this channel back in 2018 and I am back (November 2020) to really give my channel some quality content and help people out in anyway I can, with great value watches. Great watch and great review. However, the bezel is too thin compared to the real black bay just like the San Martin and the Thorn. I much prefer the Addiesdive BB burgundy. It’s been my daily for a couple of months now, looks identical to the real thing.
I'm not a fan of snowflake hands so not for me but I can recommend the Militado ML05 quartz with the VH31 movement, Hamilton homage, I have the Hamilton and the Militado version which has been on my wrist since buying it weeks ago it's really very good.
Fine watch, but I personally don’t like the clasp, would’ve preferred a simpler 2 button clasp… For the price I can overlook the ghost date and the mismatched in colour of the hand and indices but I just don’t like the look of the bezel insert… What I would love to see, is a proper BB41 homage, not another BB58, you know 41 mm diameter, date window at 3 o’clock… Thinner than the original at that. But yeah hope dies last, eh? Good video tho! Cheers!
Nice this bro. I have the blue San Martin budget version and the bezel looks the same when looking at the numbers... I wouldn't mind the mono version and I like the name on the dial here as well
I have my Black Bay Homage and it is one ADDIESDIVE AD2035 GMT with a Swiss Quartz movement by RONDA 515-24H and it is more cheaper ( less than 90 U$S ).
Appreciate the $30 code. Getting this for $109 end price seems like a good bargain, but this style of watch, with its many different makers, just does not appeal to me.
It might just be me but $150 is too high for a humble NH35 movement. Even the NH38 is no great shakes given the VH31 is available. Hats off to them for the cracking bracelet though.
With my discount code, it comes in at $120 and in relation to the movement, I’m not a fan of date movements in non date watches but I really don’t mind the NH movements in affordable watches. I understand your perspective though mate 👍👍
Excellent review as always!! I've been looking at picking up a Tudor homage, either the BB58 or Pelagos, but this isn't going to be the one, rather underwhelming. IMO Militado need a decent logo, it would look much on the dial over the full printed name.
It’s a brilliant watch for the price. I think the only “problem” they may have is that anyone who wants a homage of a BB 58 probably already has one. But for anyone who doesn’t have one or wants a different color, it’s a hell of choice. Thanks for the great review!

Winner winner chicken dinner! That turquoise sunburst dial is a homerun. It's about time for some bolder and cooler colorways than the basic few from Rolex. The turquoise bezel is even prettier.
I always thought Militado was a sub brand of Baltany, but I guess they are separate entities. I’ve never cared for these 1920’s Oyster Homages, but I’m really coming around, and I’m very close to getting one. That lume surprised me as well! Thanks for the great review as always!
Seems like a decent version compared to the Baltany version but I think I would splurge a bit more for the Baltany one. I just wish they would offer a quartz version though but I guess maybe that’s what this offers.
I do like these 1920 Oyster homages, they need small seconds and better a quartz than a Sea-Gull 17. I think I would have chosen the roman numeral silver dial of the ones you showed, but the lume did look rather good on yours 👍 😁
What a great value. It appears to be an unpretentious watch that you can wear to the office, diner or a movie yet not worry if it gets a scuffed up band or case.
Perhaps but many will like the fact that it is just pick up and go. Quite a few people have been complaining that I don’t feature any Quartz pieces, so here we are. Thanks for watching 👍👍
I bought one with the black face and i couldnt see the hands on the dial. I couldnt read the time. I ended up buying a sterile red dial and switching it out. A no date dial from Tandorio. Now i like it but i still might change the hands. They are a little small plus while the dial has good lume it isnt much use if you cant see the hands because the lume is not good on the hands. I dont have a problem with the lack of anti glare coating. Its fine for me. I dont even notice on the red dial. I put it on a medium brown leather strap and it looks good now. I wear it quite a bit. The red dial salvaged the watch.
I just purchased the red fumée dial on the stainless steel bracelet. It should arrive in the next weeks! This one is a no brainer IMO. Good value for the money. Some Aliexpress stores are now offering brushed metal hands to help with the contrast.
I have the Neptuno Icy Frost dial. Very nice watch, similar dial but with nicer handset. Also a very nice NH38 runs about 3 seconds fast a day, however if I set it on its side at night I get even better accuracy.
