Argentina. I was 59 in 2009 and would have LOVED to be there!!!!!!!!

I've had the pleasure of seeing them on 4 different concert tours and They Always put on an Incredible Show!! Especially Angus's endless energy,I can't believe that he doesn't have brain damage from all that Rocking!!😘😎🤘

During the 3 day concert in Argentina the seismic station that is somewhere in Argentina registered seismic actively during this concert. Just watch the massive crowd jumping to the beat of the music !!!!! There were over 70,000 people at that concert for 3 days. The stadium had to do major repairs after it was finished

The tour will see the lads shows across Germany, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, England, Slovakia, Belgium, France & Ireland this Summer. They are starting a tour TOMORROW, believe it or not!

Not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian was 63, Angus was 54 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! 1977 in Austin Texas. At a converted National Guard Armory called The Armadillo World Headquarters. I paid $4.50 for tickets to go see a Canadian band's first American appearance. Their name was Moxy. Their opening act was also making their first American appearance from Australia. AC/DC. We might have heard more from Moxy if they had chosen another band to open for them.

You should check out the entire concert. Probably the second best concert from them only behind Moscow in 1991 where they played to 1.6 million people

River plate is in Argentina. They are still touring.. this whole concert is a great watch. You really want to see angus watch let there be rock from this show then whole Lotta Rosie

Angus plays the Gibson SG model mainly because its one of the lightest in weight electric guitars that Gibson manufactures. Much earlier in his career he played a Les Paul Custom at a show, 70s Les Pauls were very heavy guitars, and it nearly dislocated Angus left shoulder. So he sticks with SGs.

Thats a truly beautiful reaction. I understood entirely. Yeah the River Plate show in Argentina is epic. But nothing compares to 20 yr old Angus in Bad Boy Bogie with his mate Bon Scott. Thats the most pure exciting thing the world has seen.

Angus has said in many interviews when asked about being one of the best guitarists in the world he would state that he was not the best guitarist in the ACDC.

I've been a devoted fan since 1973 and share your love of music genres. There are countless videos to watch regarding the genre you want to hear. Looking at your video list, your heart is in rock, as is my own. I'd be negligent if I didn't tell you of a talent that supercededs genres as she is in a league of her own. I'm referring to Angelina Jordan, and I'd suggest starting at the beginning when she was 7 and won Finlands. got Talent and work your way up to present Las Vegas headline. I have a feeling you are going to be amazed once you pick your jaw off the floor and get past the denial stage of "No Way That............." Well, I won't spoil it, but do read the comments following your first reaction for stories that will mealt your heart.

The River Plate performance (in Argentina) by AC/DC in 2009 was sadly, the last tour w/ founding rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young, Angus Young's brother and co-writer in the band... Years later, Angus revealed that Malcolm was struggling to remember things back in 2008 as they worked on the album 'Black ice'... He was soon diagnosed w/ dementia; he insisted he could carry in AC/DC until he was unable to... Onstage, he looked frail and was not as vibrant as in past tours (even though he was the quiet guitarist in the back who held the rhythm) In 2013, AC/DC quietly announced that Malcolm Young was retiring - he could no longer remember the songs he had written... Their nephew Stevie Young took his spot on rhythm guitar. Malcolm Young passed away in 2017 (R.I.P.) It was also the last tour to feature longtime drummer Phil Rudd... He had joined AC/DC in 1975 and recorded a majority of their albums but he was fired in 1983 for excessive drug abuse. Rudd cleaned up his act and settled in New Zealand. In 1994, Phil Rudd was asked to rejoin AC/DC by Malcolm Young and he had to work on getting his drum skills back... Rudd returned in 1995 and stayed w/ the band... However, he appeared in 2014 to record their album 'Rock or bust'... and looked awful... Months later, news broke that Phil Rudd was arrested and charged in New Zealand w/ a murder-for-hire plot and had been abusing drugs again. After Malcolm Young's death in 2017, Phil Rudd had done jail time and cleaned up once again... He was asked to play drums on AC/DC's 'Power up' album (in Malcolm Young's memory) which was released in 2020. However, his criminal convictions and legal issues made it impossible for him to tour extensively. Last year (2023), AC/DC played their first show since 2016, when Brian Johnson suffered hearing loss and was replaced on tour by Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose... Brian Johnson (vocals) announced that new tech in hearing aids had provided the compensation for his hearing loss and he would be able to tour again... However, Cliff Williams (bass) had announced that he would be retiring back in 2016; he played his last show w/ AC/DC in 2023... Matt Laug (drums) was added to AC/DC's line-up. In 2024, AC/DC has announced a major European tour w/ Angus Young, Brian Johnson and Stevie Young being joined by drummer Matt Laug and new bassist Chris Chaney, starting May 17.

Sky During inaugural festival, 2023's Power Trip, Angus, even though he is little older still moves to the beat but slowly. Brian Johnson returns after he recovered from his hearing loss. Cliff also returns after 1st decided to retire from touring. Angus & Malcolm's nephew stepped in his Uncle Malcolm's place as rhythm guitarist. You need to listen to their other amazing songs like "BACK IN BLACK, WHOLE LOT OF ROSIE, HIGHWAY TO HELL, HELL'S BELLS, YOU SHOOK ME SLL NIGHT LONG, SHOOT TO THRILL " & manyx many more!!! And they are still killing it. They are in their late 60's and early 70's and they have no thoughts of slowing down anytime soon!!! They released a new album at the start of the pandemic and it was like they never stopped when Malcolm died.

Every one watches Angus, but Mal in the back shredding picks on the cables on the beast is the guy that keeps it all together, and is the reason they sound the same at a concert as they do on a album

Amazing performance--fun to watch on video, but nothing beats to be there in a huge crowd like this. I was lucky to watch them live once, as well as U2, ZZ Top, Pink Floyd (once each band, and Metallica 5 times (between 1985 & august 2023. If you like live performances, I have 2 suggestions for you: Lynyrd Skynyrd's free bird (Oakland 1977) or Metallica's Master of puppets (Québec Magnetic version is best & I was hidden somewhere in the crowd.
